Reacher star Alan Ritchson has landed his next lead role in upcoming adventure movie Fortune.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Fortune is currently being compared to a blend of Memento and Raiders of the Lost Ark, but specifics about the plot are being kept confidential at this time.
In addition to appearing in the film, Ritchson will also produce it alongside Jerry Bruckheimer. This collaboration marks a reunion for them since they previously worked together on the 2024 action thriller “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare,” directed by Guy Ritchie.
The screenplay for “A Minecraft Movie” will be penned by Neil Widener and Gavin James, who have crafted it from their original short tale.
Ritchson himself verified his role in the movie “Fortune” by posting pictures of an article from The Hollywood Reporter on Instagram, labeling it as “So fun.” (translated in a more conversational manner: Ritchson shared photos of an article about him being cast in “Fortune” on Instagram, captioned as “This is going to be fun.”)

The actor is currently involved in multiple forthcoming films, one of which is the upcoming Netflix action movie titled “War Machine.
As a passionate movie enthusiast, I can’t help but express my excitement about “War Machine,” a film masterfully crafted by Patrick Hughes. This thrilling tale follows my journey, along with other recruits at a unique special operations training camp, as we find ourselves plunged into action much sooner than expected. A chilling threat from an alien world has Earth in its crosshairs, and our lives are about to take an unprecedented turn!
He’s additionally slated to perform alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in the upcoming Christmas movie titled “The Man with the Sack“. The plot revolves around Santa Claus, who resorts to enlisting a reformed burglar named Vance to assist him in recovering his magical bag and safeguarding Christmas.

In October, Ritchson landed the main role in the romantic film titled “Counting Miracles“, which is based on a novel by Nicholas Sparks with the same name.
In a new role, the actor takes on a character who is an ex-Army Ranger making a homecoming to his long-lost father’s town. During his stay, he interacts with a busy doctor managing both her professional and personal life as a single mother, as well as a solitary man living in isolation.
The actor also has several forthcoming films. These include the action-thriller ‘Runner’, directed by Scott Waugh from ‘Expendables 4’; ‘Motor City’, a movie set in the 70s where he portrays a character seeking revenge after being wrongly imprisoned; and the action-comedy ‘Playdate’.
