Reacher star Alan Ritchson’s new Netflix action movie is going to be “wild to watch”
In a recent announcement, the high-octane action movie titled War Machine, featuring actor Alan Ritchson from the series Reacher, has been described as “unruly” by Dennis Quaid.
In the forthcoming Netflix movie, we follow the story of the last group of trainees at an elite special ops training facility. These recruits find themselves immersed in real-life situations earlier than expected when an ominous force from another dimension endangers our planet.
The movie “War Machine,” written and directed by Patrick Hughes, has been generating increasing excitement since filming started in September. According to Bradley Quaid, his fellow actor, Ritchson, will undoubtedly get involved in the action during the shooting process, as suggested by Quaid’s statement to MovieWeb.

He mentioned that he had a fantastic time in Australia for about two weeks. It was enjoyable since he got the opportunity to play the general, and his uniform remained spotless throughout. It was terrific! Meanwhile, Alan found himself knee-deep in mud. He’s quite impressive in the movie – it promises to be an exhilarating watch.
Apart from Quaid and Ritchson, the impressive lineup of actors for the film “War Machine” also includes Stephan James, Jai Courtney, Esai Morales, Daniel Webber, and Jake Ryan. Notably, Hughes collaborated with James Beaufort in crafting the screenplay.
Currently, there isn’t a set release date for “War Machine,” but John Richtson has been making waves on television screens, portraying Jack Reacher. Amazon Prime Video has just premiered the third season of the action series featuring this character.
In a surprising turn of events, it’s been disclosed by Ritchson that he actually lost consciousness while filming the critically-adored finale. He described the scene as one where viewers watch John Reacher be tossed around violently for an extended period.
In one of my creative moments, I proposed an unconventional stunt where the camera would focus solely on my face as I crashed through a table on the barn floor. The reaction I received was a mix of concern and disbelief: “You’re risking your life, and it’s going to be too painful for you!” They were hesitant to go ahead with it due to the potential risks involved.
He described his injury as being akin to entering the seventh level of torment, having left him unconscious for more than a day. This battle we endured took us three long weeks. That one brief moment, a mere three seconds, was like a single frame in a 28-minute video.
War Machine currently has no release date, whilst Reacher streams on Prime Video.
