Reacher star Alan Ritchson’s Netflix movie gets exciting update

As a seasoned gamer and movie enthusiast with a soft spot for action-packed sci-fi flicks, I can hardly contain my excitement about Alan Ritchson’s new Netflix movie, War Machine! With an impressive cast that includes the likes of Stephan James, Jai Courtney, Blake Richardson, Keiynan Lonsdale, Daniel Webber, Dennis Quaid, and Esai Morales, this film promises to be a rollercoaster ride of suspense and action.

Production on Alan Ritchson’s new Netflix movie War Machine is officially under way.

As reported by Variety, the forthcoming action-sci-fi movie will kick off its filming in Victoria, Australia, and it’s expected to carry on till December.

Under the guidance of director Patrick Hughes, the film titled War Machine will delve into the story of an Army Ranger team that stumbles upon an adversary they never anticipated while enduring the last day of the most challenging military selection procedure known to mankind.

According to reports, Ritchson, famous for playing the main character in Amazon’s popular series “Reacher,” is expected to take on the leading role of a potential Ranger.

As a fervent fan, I’m thrilled to learn that Stephan James, Jai Courtney, Blake Richardson, Keiynan Lonsdale, and Daniel Webber are going to portray characters who are fellow rangers, but find themselves in way over their depth.

Completing the group are Dennis Quaid and Esai Morales, taking on roles as commanding officers.

In addition to directing the movie, Hughes collaborated with James Beaufort on the screenplay. Notably, Beaufort recently became part of the “Neighbours” cast, portraying the character Felix Rodwell.

A release date for War Machine is yet to be confirmed.

In another location, Ritchson has just finished shooting for Potsy Ponciroli’s forthcoming action movie titled “Motor City“. In this film, he portrays a character who embarks on a violent quest for retribution against those who falsely incriminated him, following his release from prison.

In simpler terms, the actor’s fellow actor, Ben Foster, recently shared that the movie they just finished filming, titled “Motor City,” will have very little dialogue, almost like a silent film with only five spoken lines.

Since Jack White contributes to the music, we can expect the movie to have elements of both rock and disco, with perhaps an unexpected twist. This movie is reminiscent of a comic book, making it intriguing to discover how it unfolds.

Ritchson is set to appear again in the third season of Reacher, but we don’t know when it might be released just yet.
