Australian breakdancing sensation Rachael ‘Raygun’ Gunn has unveiled a surprising friendship.
On Tuesday, I couldn’t help but share my excitement on Instagram when I struck a pose alongside Anthony Albanese! At 37 years old, I’m absolutely thrilled about this incredible encounter!
The contentious breakdancer appeared cheerful while seated next to the Australian Prime Minister during Fitzy and Wippa with Kate Ritchie’s charity cricket event, flashing a wide grin.
The pair wore matching ensembles consisting of white pants, red printed T-shirts and sneakers.
Every year, we host a cricket game, and this time around, the proceeds from the event are being donated to the country-wide charity, Lifeline.
Additionally, at the gathering were radio host Ben Fordham (from 2GB), Sarah Abo from The Today Show, and television presenter Mark Ferguson (representing Channel Seven).

Besides NSW Premier Chris Minns, singer Shannon Noll, competitive swimmer Shayna Jack, and long-distance runner Ned Brockmann, there were other notable attendees as well.
Raygun became a global source of ridicule during the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Wearing an outfit typical of Australia, Raygun leaped about as if a kangaroo and slithered across the floor much like a snake, performing a routine that failed to win over the judges.
In October, the dancer demonstrated her skills by inviting critics to a dance competition where a prize of $10,000 was at stake.
She remarked, “It seems a few of you believe there’s room for improvement,” as she stood poised before the camera, ready to perform her dance.
‘Really?’ she added in disbelief, cracking her knuckles.
Later on, she abruptly adopts her well-known kangaroo stance and invites her audience with a curious question, “Shall we discover together?
In the heavily edited video, Raygun can be observed executing several of her distinctive dance steps within a pristine white chamber. At one instance, she performs an impressive move by spinning on her head.

Towards the conclusion of the video, Raygun can be observed chuckling while competition details for the promo on finder.com.au were displayed over her.
Raygun was comprehensively beaten in all of her battle rounds at last year’s Paris Olympics.
Her routine went viral and was even mocked by the likes of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
In an unexpected turn of events, she came back from Paris and was surprisingly crowned the top breakdancer globally, despite barely contending for a medal. This unusual outcome stemmed from the peculiar method used to evaluate dancers.
