At the All Points East Festival held at Victoria Park, London over the weekend, Raye had to stop her act.
The singer, 27, was speaking to the crowd during her set when a fan collapsed in the crowd.
Upon noticing disturbances among the crowd, Raye called out: “It seems there’s some gesturing happening over there. Everything okay? Could security kindly attend to that area, please?
“It seems safety measures are approaching. Could we kindly make some room, please? Let’s signal once assistance has been granted. Thank you.”
This paraphrase retains the original meaning while making it more conversational and easy to read for a wider audience. The emphasis is on clarity and conciseness, ensuring that the message remains straightforward but maintains a friendly tone.
It seems like someone may have fainted; I hope they’re all right. I’m praying for their well-being. Here’s to hoping everything turns out fine for them. They appear to be receiving assistance now.
As fans confirmed everything was ok with a thumbs up, the crowd began to cheer.

During the upcoming long weekend (bank holiday), the festival will feature shows by Chase & Status, Barry Can’t Swim, and The Maccabees.
Support at these shows will come from the likes of Tyla, Bombay Bicycle Club and Confidence Man.
Over the past week, music enthusiasts were deeply disappointed when Doechii had to cancel her appearances at All Points East Festival and two additional upcoming shows.
On Tuesday, the organizers of the festival shared an announcement on their social media platforms stating that Doechii, who is 27 years old, will not be performing at the festival this coming Saturday.
It was shared on Instagram that unfortunately, Doechii will not be able to perform at her scheduled concerts.
‘This woman is an exceptional artist, and, just like her fans everywhere, we couldn’t wait to watch her perform. All Points East boasts an incredible roster of talent such as RAYE, Tyla, JADE, Jyoty, Nao, and numerous others, making it a day that will undoubtedly be extraordinary.’
It’s been announced that Doechii will no longer be performing at the Forwards Bristol festival this coming Sunday, and she has also canceled her scheduled performance at Rock en Seine in Paris on Thursday.
It seems that Doechii has yet to issue a personal statement, and the reason for her absence from performing remains undisclosed as of now.

Fans were devastated about the news as they demanded a good replacement for her act.
In their message, they wrote: ‘On my birthday, I couldn’t contain my excitement upon seeing her’; or ‘I traveled across continents to meet her, and I was overjoyed at the sight of her on my special day.’
You’ve been refunded a significant amount, so there’s no reason left not to find an alternative performer; your patience since January, only to be let down at the last minute.”
This version maintains the original meaning but is more natural and easy to understand, with a smoother flow of words.
1. “What on earth are you talking about?” (for ‘What the helly’)
2. “Is this a joke or something? I don’t think so.” (for ‘nah are you joking?????’)
3. “They should clean up their act, they really need to step it up for their fans.” (for ‘APE behaving messy this year, do better for your fans.’)
