Ray J claims celebs told him they are afraid of Diddy affiliation and have paid alleged victims to keep quiet
As a seasoned observer of the entertainment world, I must say that the life of Sean Combs, also known as Diddy or Puff Daddy, has been nothing short of extraordinary. From his humble beginnings in Harlem to becoming one of the most influential figures in hip-hop and beyond, he’s proven time and again that he’s more than just a rapper, producer, and entrepreneur – he’s a survivor.
Ray J, a former boyfriend of Kim Kardashian, has stated that certain celebrities fear repercussions due to their association with Diddy, as they believe it might lead to potential problems. He also claimed that some stars have reportedly compensated alleged victims in order to silence them and avoid any associated issues.
43-year-old musician, who asserted that he was ‘attacked’, about two weeks following his intense argument with Diddy’s sons, is featured in a sneak peek of TMZ’s upcoming TUBI documentary titled “The Downfall Of Diddy: Inside The Freak-Offs”, during which he made daring statements.
In a brief interview, he revealed to TMZ’s Harvey Levin that certain influential individuals linked to Diddy have been attempting to quietly compensate alleged victims prior to public accusations, in an effort to avoid becoming embroiled in scandals and preserve their reputations.
Ray J said: ‘I am hearing about artists paying victims to keep their name out of it.’
On September 16, Diddy was accused and faced charges for multiple crimes related to sex trafficking and racketeering.
Since then upwards of 120 victims have already come forward, but Diddy maintains his innocence and is demanding a trial as early as spring.
Harvey asks if he has heard of anyone being paid off to keep quiet.
The performer responds: ‘Let me clarify, folks are constantly gathering information and silencing it throughout the day. And when I say ‘gathering and silencing’, you’re familiar with the concept, but in a broader sense. Someone has the facts, someone is compensated to conceal them, and ideally, that payment ensures your contentment as you witness the falsehood prosper.’
Harvey inquires, is it true that you personally know someone who’s been offered money to stay quiet? He implies this by asking if Ray J knows anyone in such a situation.
Ray J responds: ‘Here’s the other way around it Harvey. I’ll give you money, please don’t talk.’
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but wonder if Ray J’s network of connections aligns with the latest buzz surrounding the current events. The big boss at TMZ certainly seems to think so!
The artist behind One Wish stated: “Indeed, they wish to discuss with me. They desire to share their experiences, and it seems they feel comfortable confiding in me.
Harvey asks for clarification for what these people are calling him over.
Ray J explains: ‘They wanted to share some events involving them and Diddy with me.’
Harve Levin, the creator of TMZ, wonders if it could be confirmed that those reaching out to the singer are influential individuals connected to Diddy. They may prefer Ray J to disclose this association discreetly without making it public.
The performer replies with: ‘Indeed, that’s the point I was making… I can’t quite explain why, but I did express it anyway. So, let them be upset now. Bring it on.’ (Note that the last part is a more polite and less confrontational way of saying “Come get me [censored]”)
Harvey queried about the details of what those individuals did with Diddy, and Ray appeared thoughtful and moody before replying, “I’d rather not disclose. I believe I’ve already shared too much.
A day following his statement about being shot at allegedly by an attacker, this incident occurred, and it had been just two weeks since he got into a heated argument with three of Diddy’s sons.
On Tuesday, the 43-year-old R&B artist posted a monochrome video where he informed his followers about a recent alleged shooting incident involving him.
In a video shared on his Instagram Story, he expressed, ‘People have been trying to harm me, even attempt to take my life… And now you’re asking for an apology? You’ve got to be kidding! I couldn’t care less!’ The clip concluded with him gesturing angrily at the camera.
A man from Mississippi, evidently upset, launched into a strongly worded, curse-filled speech, hinting at a conflict involving an unspecified individual or party.
In the video, Ray J didn’t disclose who he suspects as the shooter, nor did he share additional information about the incident, and there’s no mention of whether he reported it to the police.
I recently shared an update, which follows closely on the heels of a reported altercation I was involved in at Tara Electra’s Unruly Agency Halloween bash in Los Angeles with Diddy’s sons, King Combs, Quincy Brown, and Justin Dior Combs. The incident occurred just weeks prior to my post.
Initially, it was claimed by several sources to TMZ that at that point in time, the rap tycoon’s sons had a discussion with the singer due to remarks made by Ray J regarding Combs during his ongoing legal predicaments.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but share the buzz I’ve picked up: Word on the street is, Ray J found himself in the midst of some intense family dynamics! Seems like his siblings were giving him a hard time, getting right up in each other’s grills and even engaging in good ol’ fashioned chest-bumping! Now, here’s the kicker: Insiders are saying that Justin and Christian were chomping at the bit, raring to go for a full-blown brawl.
Meanwhile, Chris Brown observed the situation from his vehicle and promptly went over. He managed to calm things down between Ray J and his manager, David, by separating the two brothers.
As a concerned onlooker, I too heard that others tried to intervene during the skirmish with the hope of preventing any harm. Fortunately, it seemed that no one got hurt in the end.
Prior to the incident, it was said that the siblings had made three attempts to talk with Ray J about his remarks regarding the singer.
According to TMZ’s report, Ray J stated that he was ready for a discussion with Combs’s sons at any time, but if they chose to make disrespectful remarks, he would be prepared to stand up against all three of them.
According to the source, Ray J continues to view Diddy and his offspring as part of his family, yet he’s unwilling to be manipulated or taken advantage of by the young ones.
It is unclear if the alleged shooting had any connection to Ray J’s argument with Diddy’s kids.
Ever since September 16, I find myself shackled to the infamous walls of Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, all because of my beloved man, Combs, who’s been ensnared in a web of federal charges. These charges include racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for purposes of prostitution. I can hardly believe it, but I stand firm in my faith that he’ll emerge victorious from this ordeal.
The same jail, with roughly 1,200 inmates, currently houses R. Kelly and Sam Bankman-Fried and is currently under federal investigation over violent incidents over the years.
Since his arrest, upwards of 120 victims have come forward while Combs maintains his innocence.
Over the past month, it’s been reported that seven distinct federal lawsuits have been filed against Combs, accusing him of sexual assault or rape. These alleged incidents are said to have taken place between the years 2000 and 2022.
Combs’ legal team is working diligently to secure his release from prison, having submitted an appeal to the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court. Previously, two judges declined his request for bail, but a hearing about this matter has been scheduled for November 4.
Larry Levine, head of Wall Street Prison Consultants, disclosed that Combs is receiving regular psychological assessments to monitor his mental well-being, in addition to special privileges.
‘My sources are telling me that [Combs] is getting extra showers each week. I don’t know how many. It probably varies. They’re giving him extra privileges,’ he said.
As an ardent devotee, I can’t help but share that Levine mentioned a troubling point about Combs – he could become a focal point amongst his peers in prison, given the serious accusations against him involving the mistreatment of minors.
He commented, “His life is quite solitary. There’s a mark against him that makes him a target, and to make matters worse, he carries too much burden for far too many individuals.
It seems that someone needs to remove this individual, but the people present cannot do so because they don’t have access to him.
Combs is scheduled for criminal trial in May 2025.
