Ravenswatch Co-Op Gameplay Drops Ahead of Late November Release
As a seasoned gamer who’s seen his fair share of action-roguelikes and cooperative multiplayer games, I must say that Ravenswatch has piqued my interest with its unique blend of familiar characters from classic tales and fresh gameplay mechanics. The thought of teaming up with friends to play as Little Red Riding Hood, Aladdin, Sun Wukong, Beowulf, Geppetto, the Snow Queen, or Carmilla is nothing short of exhilarating.
Nacon and studio Passtech Games have unveiled a fresh trailer for the game Ravenswatch. This sneak peek highlights the game’s cooperative mode that can accommodate up to four players, and it also showcases the game’s online cross-play functionality.
In the forthcoming action role-playing game set in the world of dreams called Rêverie, you’ll have the freedom to play solo or collaborate with your friends as you confront the ominous Nightmares that pose a threat. The game offers nine characters to select, drawn from various tales and folklore, such as the swift assassin known as Little Red Riding Hood (also called Scarlet), who transforms into a werewolf under the cover of darkness.
Additionally, we have characters such as Aladdin, endowed with Genie powers, the ‘Divine Palm’ and Thundercloud from Sun Wukong, the heroic Beowulf, Geppetto and his Lightning Rod Dolls, the icy Snow Queen, and the menacing Carmilla. The game boasts over 200 characters, 50 magical artifacts, providing a variety of build combinations, four levels of difficulty, and customizable game modes, ensuring numerous playthroughs for players.
On the 28th of November, Ravenswatch is set to make its appearance on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. It initially debuted for early access on PC, with a version for Nintendo Switch scheduled for release in the year 2025.
