As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my metallic belt, I must say that Akimbot has caught my attention like a shiny wrench in a junkyard. The visual resemblance to Ratchet and Clank, a series I hold dear, is undeniable, yet the game promises its own unique take on the action-platformer genre.
The 3D action platformer titled Akimbot, which appears to have drawn considerable inspiration from Ratchet and Clank, has recently been released. This high-energy game, developed by Evil Raptor, is characterized as “unrelenting, nonstop action”, where you engage in combat to safeguard the universe.
As the rogue robot Exe, you’ll team up with companion Shipset to fight off robot armies and navigate spacecraft throughout the cosmos. Along the way, you’ll carve out a trail in your quest to prevent the universe from imminent destruction.
Experience unbridled, high-octane action as you navigate through a robot-filled universe – Akimbot is available now on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC for just $19.99/£15.99! To celebrate its release, enjoy a 10% off launch discount for a limited time only. Watch the action unfold in our launch trailer below.
