Rapper Rich Homie Quan has been found dead at age 34 of a rumored drugs overdose.

The star, real name Dequantes Devontay Lamar, died Thursday at his home in Atlanta.

In a couple of weeks, he had a scheduled performance in his home city, sharing the stage with Nick Cannon on Wild ‘N Out, along with artists such as Wacka Flocka and Nardo Wick

They informed TMZ that they are deeply saddened and broken-hearted due to the unexpected passing, which occurred only a few days before his 35th birthday

A representative from Fulton County morgue also confirmed the news of his passing to the outlet.

Unverified speculation about his death being due to a drug overdose has been spreading among fellow musicians, however, his family has not yet disclosed the cause of his passing

Rap artist Playboi Carti was among those expressing tribute to the deceased celebrity, sharing multiple video snippets of him on his Instagram story
