Ranvir Singh’s ER Nightmare! You Won’t Believe What Happened!

Ranvir Singh revealed that she was rushed to hospital and had to have emergency surgery. 

47-year-old host was unexpectedly admitted for an emergency appendectomy in the dead of night, mere hours prior to her scheduled work shift on Lorraine.

In simpler terms, she shared with her 132k Instagram followers that she enjoyed hosting @lorraine last Wednesday while wearing a beautiful white linen pinstripe suit. She felt a bit tired and groggy in the morning, but a couple of cups of coffee helped clear things up for her.

At 10:30 am, I suddenly felt an unexplained stomach pain and ended up spending the entire day in bed. It turned out that I had a ruptured appendix and underwent emergency surgery at midnight on Thursday! Everything’s fine now.

She went on to say: ‘I woke up at 5 am on a Friday, still feeling the effects of anesthesia, convinced that I could make it to work to host the show as usual.’

Over the past few days, it seems I’ve been battling some rather unpleasant conditions due to bacterial infection in my system. Jadeens advised me to take a break for this coming week.

Due to my current condition, I’m hobbling about and won’t be able to drive for a week. Also, I’ve been advised to avoid any physical activity for four weeks. The real struggle, though, is the boredom that’s setting in!

‘Ps. Anyone else have this horrendous shoulder pain afterwards? It’s mad isn’t it!’ 

Many rushed to the comments section to share the love and send their best wishes.

Lorraine viewers were surprised to see Andi Peters on Friday’s instalment of the ITV show.

54-year-old host, often seen on ITV’s morning shows, unexpectedly switched places with another presenter, surprising viewers with a change in the lineup.

Friday’s instalment of Lorraine is usually presented by either Ranvir or Christine Lampard, 46. 

Even though Andi took over for Ranvir at the last moment, he informed the audience during the show after the opening credits: “Let me begin by expressing my wishes for a speedy recovery to Ranvir, who unfortunately couldn’t join us today…

That’s why they’ve brought in a man wearing a bright orange shirt, ensuring that you’ll wake up this morning with a jolt!

‘Get well soon Ranvir. We send you all of our love.’ 

Andi did not reveal what is wrong with former Strictly star Ranvir. 

Many flocked to the platform once known as Twitter to express their opinions about the recent changes, with one commenting: “Are Lorraine and Ranvir unwell?

‘Lorraine, ranvir, Chrisine said no , so let’s get the competition bloke in.’

‘Andi is actually really good at this!’ 

This week from Monday through Thursday, Christine and Sian Welby, aged 38, have been appearing on the couch during the daily episodes of Lorraine.

Over the past week, several well-known personalities temporarily filled the role of Lorraine Kelly, who is typically the host, due to her recovery following a surgical procedure to extract her fallopian tubes and ovaries. This operation was carried out on Monday through Thursday’s programming.

It comes after Lorraine gave fans a health update on X on Wednesday.  

She said: ‘Thanx for all your lovely messages I’m recovering well. 

‘So proud of my top team – punching above our weight and bucking the trend.

‘Just heard our ratings are up – we had the highest March for four years. 

‘Thanks @vixkennedy and the gang! Always know how to cheer me up.’

Many rushed to reply to the tweet to share their love and support. 

One wrote: ‘Bless you.’

‘Good to read that you’re recovering well. Miss you and will be glad when you’re back.’

‘Look after yourself Lorraine. Xx.’ 

Last weekend, Lorraine disclosed that she had been admitted to the hospital prior to having a minimally invasive operation.

The well-known television personality from Scotland shared updates about recent events with her followers, posting from her hospital room on social media.

In my latest Instagram post, I shared with my 575 followers that I have a small medical appointment scheduled for today. Wishing everyone a healthy and happy day!

Over the past few days, I haven’t been in the best of health, so I underwent some examinations like scans and tests. Unfortunately, it has been determined that I need a surgical procedure to remove my ovaries and fallopian tubes.

A common surgical procedure, called an oophorectomy, is usually performed to reduce the risk of ovarian cancer in women by removing their ovaries and Fallopian tubes.

Reassuring fans that she is being well looked after, Lorraine added: ‘It’s purely preventative. 

‘I’ll undergo a minimally invasive procedure called keyhole surgery, which is remarkable. Rest assured, I’m receiving excellent care here, and I’ll recover swiftly. We’ll catch up again soon, as I’m going to be completely okay.’

Lorraine shared, “Having a keyhole procedure for prevention – I’m incredibly grateful for the excellent care I’ve received. Thank you, Dr. Raafat, and the entire team!

The telly legend’s titular show has been on our screens on ITV since 2010. 

Christine has helped out on the show since 2017, while Ranvir joined the team in 2020.

Lorraine airs weekdays from 10:00am on ITV.
