Ralf Little reacts to new Death in Paradise project

As a long-time fan of Death in Paradise, I must say Ralf Little’s recent comment about the new puzzle book is pure gold! The man played DI Neville Parker, and yet he couldn’t even figure out whodunnit when reading the scripts! Talk about life imitating art.

Former Death in Paradise star Ralf Little has shared a hilarious reaction to a new show project.

This week, the BBC unveiled a new puzzle book, filled with 150 challenging puzzles that enthusiasts can’t wait to solve.

The intriguing book takes you on an adventure to the realm of Saint Marie, placing you alongside beloved characters and inviting you to join in a fresh tale,” the Instagram post states.

“So grab a mojito and your magnifying glass – it’s time to find out whodunnit.”

Nonetheless, it was revealed that Little, who portrayed DI Neville Parker until recently, playfully admitted in the comments section that he often found it challenging to decipher cases as depicted in the show’s scripts.

He wrote, “No, I couldn’t understand it when going through the scripts. Fortunately, Neville is more intelligent than me.

Readers have the opportunity to secure a copy of the book, as it becomes available for purchase starting from November 7. Pre-ordering is already possible on Amazon if you wish to reserve your copy in advance.

It was made official in March after the end of season 13 that the character was leaving the BBC series, and later it emerged that ‘EastEnders’ actor Don Gilet would step into the role of the new main detective inspector, Mervin Wilson.

A short while later, he extended his well wishes to his replacement, posting on social platforms: “The exceptional Detective Don Gilet steps in now! Wishing you an amazing journey, Don. May it be filled with joy and success for you.

I truly believe this will be a wonderfully enchanting encounter for you. I sincerely hope you reap all its benefits, and I extend my very best wishes for your success. I am confident that you will shine brilliantly. Here’s to your greatness! Enjoy the journey!

Recently, a new show titled “Will & Ralf Need a Reminder” has started airing, where he and his companion Will Mellor journey through the United Kingdom to engage in novel adventures together.

Death in Paradise and its spin-off, Beyond Paradise, both air on BBC One and stream on BBC iPlayer.
