Rainbow Six Siege X Gets a Huge Info Drop as Closed Beta Goes Live Ahead of Update’s June Release

Ubisoft has disclosed a heap of details about the revamped and freshly titled Rainbow Six Siege, called R6 Siege X, which is currently in closed beta testing. Participants of this beta test will have an opportunity to try out the new 6v6 ‘Dual Front’ game mode, taking place on “Siege”‘s largest map ever.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that a remarkable update on the Ubisoft website reveals a squad of 35 Operators, an unprecedented blend of Attackers and Defenders. In this latest gameplay, Dual Front, you’ll find yourself strategically securing enemy sectors while diligently defending your team’s territory. To learn more about the intricacies of this exciting development, I encourage you to check out the trailers below.

The closed beta for “Rainbow Six Siege X” is currently underway and will continue until March 19th at 12pm Pacific Time, 3pm Eastern Time, 7pm Greenwich Mean Time, or 8pm Central European Time. To participate, you need to claim a Closed Beta Twitch Drop by tuning into the official “Rainbow Six” Twitch channel or streams from supported content creators on Twitch. This beta is available for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms.

Presented as the “most significant change” in the past nine years for the game “Siege”, R6 Siege X will bring numerous improvements such as visual upgrades, an overhaul of audio elements, alterations to the rappelling system, increased environmental damage, and strengthened anti-cheat safeguards. The update for R6 Siege X will be available for free on June 10th within Rainbow Six Siege, along with a chance for “free access”.
