Railroads Online is Out Now on Consoles and PC
As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for complex strategy games and a soft spot for trains, I must say that the release of Railroads Online on consoles and PC has sent a thrill down my virtual spine! The opportunity to collaborate with up to 16 players in building an expansive rail network is something that’s been missing from my gaming life.
Railroads Online, the online train-obsessed sandbox game, is out now on consoles and PC.
On the platform called “Railroads Online,” as many as fifteen individuals work together, creating and planning railroad systems and networks over vast landscapes.
The description reads:
Railroads Online allows you to build your ideal railroad system either solo or with up to 16 other players. You’ll be working within a vast gaming environment where tracks, junctions, and depots need to be constructed for moving various goods using realistic trains.
This game leverages the state-of-the-art physics engines within Unreal Engine 5, providing a remarkably realistic train simulation. It dynamically calculates collisions and forces as they occur, aiming to offer an incredibly immersive experience.
Additionally, you’ll find two downloadable content (DLC) packages for the game – the Pioneer Expansion and the Explorer Add-On. Feel free to watch the video preview beneath.
Railroads Online is out now on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
