Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army Gets a June Release Date

Atlus has shared that the revamped version of “Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army” is set to release in June, offering a polished remake of the 2006 action RPG for PlayStation 2 titled “Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army” on contemporary platforms.

The game features an updated combat system, improved visuals, fully voiced dialogue for the main narrative, and numerous user-friendly enhancements. The plot starts when a young heiress approaches the Narumi Detective Agency with an unusual demand – she asks you to take her life. Suddenly, without any explanation, she’s abducted.

This version attempts to maintain the original’s clarity while using simpler and more natural language.

As an apprentice detective, Raidou Kuzunoha XIV, I’ll juggle my duties as I moonlight as a Devil Summoner, safeguarding the capital city. Simultaneously, I’ll delve into unraveling the mystery behind the kidnapping of the heiress. My path will lead me to explore the city during my investigation, and I may find myself venturing into the treacherous “dangerous juncture” – a realm where the real world intertwines with the netherworld.

Collaborating with your demonic allies, you’ll untangle puzzling enigmas and delve deep into a missing persons case that spirals into a conspiracy capable of shaking the Capital and the entire nation to its core. For more information, check out the announcement trailer below and ‘World Spotlight’ video featuring insights from Game Director Kazuyuki Yamai.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that on the 19th of June, I’ll be diving back into the action with Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army! This epic adventure will be playable across Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. For those who prefer a physical copy, there’s good news – it’ll be available for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and Switch as well!

To sweeten the deal, pre-ordering this game will earn you a unique set of Taisho-era glasses that your character, Raidou, can wear in-game. So, don’t wait too long – secure your spot now and get ready to unravel the mystery on June 19th!
