As a long-time fan of The Wheel of Time series, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming season 3! With Rafe Judkins promising to reveal the release date during Comic-Con Experience 2024 in São Paolo, Brazil, it’s like Christmas came early for us fans.
As a devoted fan, I’m excitedly stepping forward towards The Wheel of Time season 3 this weekend, and our showrunner, Rafe Judkins, has an extraordinary surprise in store for us fellow fans!
It’s not really surprising considering the announcement was made ahead of time, but Judkins shared on Instagram Stories that he will unveil the release date of season 3 of “The Wheel of Time” during a panel at Comic-Con Experience 2024 in São Paolo, Brazil on December 7. As per the report from WOTSeries, Amazon’s Prime Video will have a prominent placement at CCXP starting 5:30 PM Eastern Time. Subsequently, the panel for The Wheel of Time season 3 is set to start approximately at 6:15 PM Eastern Time.
It’s likely that Judkins will reveal the release date for The Wheel of Time during the panel, as it’s one of Prime Video’s most popular shows. We might find out about the release before the other panel starts in the first Prime Video segment. So, keep Saturday afternoon and evening free to catch the latest updates on season 3 of The Wheel of Time.
As a dedicated fan, I’ve been buzzing with excitement as I’ve heard whispers that Season 3 of The Wheel of Time is set to debut in March 2025. From various online sources, this seems to be the prevailing sentiment, but of course, nothing has been officially confirmed yet. We’ll have to wait until Judkins makes the official announcement on Saturday for the precise release date. Until then, I can’t help but let my imagination run wild!
Generally speaking, the new installments of The Wheel of Time series are usually aired on Fridays. If this pattern continues for Season 3, then we can expect the premiere to take place on either of those Fridays.

I’d rather not have that incident recur, on a personal note. I strongly advocate for the weekly episode release model for series like “The Wheel of Time.” It’s frustrating to have such long gaps between seasons, and I believe fans would enjoy being able to share their excitement over the show for an extended period. Dropping multiple episodes at once might be beneficial for those eager to watch immediately, but it certainly lessens the overall experience.
In the third season of The Wheel of Time, there are a total of eight episodes. The complete cast is returning for this new installment, with Rosamund Pike, Josha Stradowski, Madeleine Madden, Daniel Henney, Marcus Rutherford, Zoë Robins, Kate Fleetwood, Natasha O’Keeffe, and numerous others reprising their roles.
