Radio Star Kent Smallzy Faces Armed Intrusion Scare at $3.7M Sydney Home

As a seasoned lifestyle connoisseur, I found myself in an unexpected and chilling situation recently. A band of armed intruders attempted to force their way into my humble abode in the heart of Sydney.

On Smallzy‘s Surgery show, broadcasted on Wednesday evening, the Nova radio host confessed about the incident during a conversation that touched upon the break-in at Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s residence in Los Angeles.

Smallzy stated on-air and in an Instagram post, “A large number of individuals are burglarizing homes.

‘Last night’s broadcast didn’t include this, but someone attempted a break-in at my house during the night of yesterday.’

He revealed that the would-be thieves were caught on his security camera.

‘Thank God for the ring camera, we got them, but it’s very scary,’ he said.

Smallzy added: ‘They were donning mask-like coverings on their heads and carried enormous, 10-inch hunting knives. Truly terrifying, I must say.’

‘I can’t imagine how it feels if someone breaks into your house, being like violated.’

The video segment additionally featured CCTV footage from the door camera, which captured individuals wearing balaclavas and wielding knives, encircling a vehicle parked inside the garage of a residence located in Hunters Hill, Australia.

In a somewhat indirect manner, Smallzy criticized the thieves’ selection of shoes for their escape, casually referring to them as “unsavory individuals.

‘Check this out,’ he said. ‘This is what dips**ts burglars are these days.

‘Not only did they have a stupid 10-inch knife, they were wearing Adidas slides.’

In an interview with News Corp, Smallzy disclosed that he and his partner Zach La Cava were both indoors when the event transpired roughly at 2:30 AM.

He said that he noticed something ‘unusual’ when he woke to find his front gate open.

Smallzy mentioned that he noticed his neighbor shared about an attempted break-in at their home during the night.

By connecting the dots, I swiftly examined the surveillance footage from my camera, and to my astonishment, identified them.

He said that while the break-in attempt was unsuccessful, he felt ‘violated’ nonetheless.

He expressed that it was deeply unsettling to learn someone had attempted to enter his home when he was asleep.

Sharing this information might serve as a reminder for everyone to stay alert, potentially helping us identify and bring such harmful individuals to justice.

The Nova host purchased the five-bedroom Hunters Hill home back in June 2020 for $3.7million.

Following the incident where Kyle Sandilands’ 13-million-dollar mansion in Vaucluse was encircled by law enforcement officers last October, here’s what transpired:

After the high-profile arrest of a man in his 40s at Sandilands’ residence, the area around the mansion was sealed off, and the suspect was taken away for further questioning. It is reported that police executed a search warrant as part of ongoing investigations into drug trafficking operations. The arrest caused quite a stir in the neighborhood, with many residents expressing their concerns about safety and security in the upscale area.

This event took place last October at Sandilands’ luxurious mansion in Vaucluse, which was surrounded by police as part of an ongoing drug investigation. A man in his 40s was apprehended and taken into custody for questioning, causing a stir among residents who were worried about the situation in their upscale neighborhood. The authorities carried out a search warrant during this incident, which is still being investigated.

During an interview, the radio personality shared that over thirty police officers and their canine partners swarmed his neighborhood after rumors spread about a group of burglars breaking into several homes in the vicinity.

At approximately 2:30 AM, I was abruptly awakened by my security personnel due to suspicious activity detected around the property’s boundaries.

When he enquired about the commotion, he learned from security that it was actually the police who triggered Kyle’s alarm system, not any intruders.

‘I said: “What’s the go here? Someone’s on the property?” They were the police,’ he continued.

‘Apparently a lot of people in my street last night were getting robbed.’

Further along, it was made clear that the police requested Kyle to allow them access to his premises with dogs, as they wished to carry on their investigation for the suspected intruders.

‘The guys are on the run.’ he said. ‘There’s about 30 cops in my street it’s pandemonium.’
