Radio host forced to leave studio live on air after receiving tragic news
On Wednesday, a well-liked radio presenter had to step down from her early-morning program due to the arrival of some unfortunate news.
On the airwaves of FIVEAA, Jade Robran, co-hosting the Winter Breakfast show alongside Tom Rehn, suddenly concluded her broadcast a few minutes before 7 am, unexpectedly departing from the studio.
Tom then addressed her shock departure, informing listeners there had been a death in her family.

‘Hopefully she’ll be back tomorrow. That’s very very sad news.’
Tom continued presenting the show on his own until 9am.
It comes after a Melbourne radio star surprised fans by announcing his shock departure.
In May, Jack Post, age 37, known for his appearances on The Christian O’Connell Show on Gold FM, chose to leave the program following a heartfelt message he shared on Instagram.
Jack posted numerous photos capturing moments from the show, such as one where he played the guitar alongside Christian O’Connell in the studio, and another featuring him with his wife, Bianca, and their son, Gordon.
In a candid disclosure, the radio host shared that the decision to leave the beloved morning show was one of the most challenging choices he had to face in his career.
He expressed his profound affection for the series and the significant impact it had on him. However, a feeling deep within him suggests that it’s now appropriate to move on from this phase and begin the next stage of his journey. This was conveyed in the caption he posted.
When I parted ways with Hamish & Andy on the radio in 2017, I was unsure about my future prospects; however, I felt a palpable enthusiasm and anticipation for the unknown possibilities that lay ahead.

He added: ‘I’m so happy it turned out to be The Christian O’Connell Show.
‘It’s time to step away again, make space, and see what’s next,’ he shared.
Jack said that he was grateful for the listeners who tuned in for the morning show over the years.
‘Thank you to each and every listener who chooses this as their breakfast show.
He expressed that he enjoys our morning conversations and running into you on the street; he hopes this continues.
After that, the radio host expressed his gratitude towards his coworkers at the station, especially Christian, whom he described as being one of the most significant connections in his life.
