Indonesian firm RAD+ar has revealed a house renovation project centered around a contemporary residence surrounded by lush greenery. This revamped dwelling is now home to an architect couple, offering a spacious multi-tiered interior filled with ample natural light and cozy nooks.

The company opted for an open floor plan concept, eliminating certain walls and passageways, promoting a seamless transition throughout the area. Moving around this space, you’ll notice a rhythmic blend of cozy corners and open expanses, creating a vibrant and ever-changing sensory landscape with light, shade, and illumination.

The light wooden flooring harmonizes well with the current birch plywood ceiling tiles, whereas the walls are painted in muted shades of gray and brown. However, a shift from natural materials is noticeable in the kitchen, as polished stainless steel takes center stage on the countertops.

Above you, a spacious seating area is enclosed by terracotta-tiled flooring, highlighting the earthy design theme intertwined with social spaces. The cushioned seating within this zone matches the personalized bedframe nearby. In the bathroom, an alluring splash of orange-brown tones adds a surprising pop of color to the open shower space.
