Rachel Zoe puts on a brave face as she attends launch event just hours after announcing shock marriage split from husband Rodger Berman after 26 years

As a die-hard fan, I couldn’t contain my excitement when the iconic style maestro, aged 53, announced their breakup on an Instagram post, just moments before gracing the red carpet at the Crate & Barrel x Jeremiah Brent event. The anticipation was palpable!
Rachel, age 55, and her husband Rodger, also 55, have been parents to boys Kaius (age 10) and Skyler (age 13) for the past 26 years. The couple has been a unit for a total of 33 years.
As a diehard enthusiast, I couldn’t contain my excitement as I found myself stepping into the grandeur of Hotel Bel-Air for a dazzling night out. Despite the circumstances, I made an effort to maintain a cheerful demeanor, determined to keep myself engaged.
Sharing some personal news, Zoe mentioned that after being together for 33 years and being married for 26 of those, she and her husband, Rodger, have mutually decided to bring their marriage to an end.

Emerging for the first time at the launch event, Rachel tightly hugged close friend Jeremiah Brent.
Rachel and Rodger met in the early 90s while they were students at George Washington University.
They married on Valentine’s Day in 1996.
Their marriage was filmed for the Bravo reality show “The Rachel Zoe Project,” which ran from 2007 to 2013, capturing certain aspects of it on camera.
Additionally, they were featured on the single-season run of Lifetime’s show “Fashionably Late With Rachel Zoe” back in 2015 as well.
Rodger is the cofounder and co-CEO of the fashion entrepreneur’s Rachel Zoe Inc.
Together, they were known as a power couple in the fashion world.
In 2021, they conversed with People regarding their collaborative podcast titled “Works For Us,” stating, “We may not claim to be seasoned relationship advisors, but we truly grasp the intricacies of people and connections.
Zoe stated, “Regardless of who someone might be, they’re engaged in a connection with others. This can take many forms: it could be a marriage, a romantic relationship, close friendships, or even familial ties like that between a mother and daughter, or colleagues at work.
Two years ago she took to social media to pay tribute to Rodger on their 31st anniversary.
8 years, 31 weeks, and a day back, I’ve cherished you @rbermanus… We’ve shared life’s journey so far, and I eagerly anticipate the future we’ll create together. This was her heartfelt message in the caption then.
‘Happiest anniversary to my person ❤️ And Yes everyone we met in kindergarten,’ she joked.’
Rodger previously opened up to Harper’s Bazaar about how they met.
In the year 1991 during summertime, I encountered Rachel. At that moment, she was 19 years old while I was 22. She worked as a hostess at a restaurant, and I was employed as a waiter, both of us residing in Washington, D.C., where we pursued our academic endeavors. This was shared with the press in the year 2011.
‘The first time I met her remains vivid in my memory; she was dressed in a snug black minidress, high-heeled shoes, sporting sleek straight hair, and with bold red lips painted using M.A.C.’s Chili lipstick,’ the father of two reminisced.
Despite the big change in her life, Rachel seems to be taking things in stride.
On a Sunday, she posted some behind-the-scenes moments from her sunny day on Instagram Stories for her 4.7 million followers to see.
Wearing a black bandeau swimsuit, she took selfie videos, captioning one of them, “Spending a few hours solo on a Sunday. Sunbathing with sunglasses from @rachelzoe.
In addition, Zoe posted a cheerful group picture with her four friends, telling followers: “I dropped by for a quick drink at Hotel Belar and ended up staying until the end of the night.
