Rachel Zegler’s Heartwarming Moment with Young Fan at Secret Snow White Screening!
Rachel Zegler didn’t get a Hollywood premiere for her new movie Snow White last week, but the actress has been praised for making sure the VIP guests at a ‘secret’ screening had a day to remember.
Last week, Disney executives generated some surprise when they hosted a private viewing of the live-action adaptation of Snow White in Spain, excluding international media from the event.
Instead of the typical crowd of big-name news outlets, it was local Spanish influencers and residents from the quaint town of Segovia – a place with only about 51,000 souls – who found themselves as special VIP guests at the event. I, being an ardent fan, couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride seeing my fellow townsfolk given this recognition.
Amongst the attendees, there was the well-known Welsh social media personality, Liana Jade, along with her 2-year-old son, Koazy. They were specially brought to Spain to encounter Rachel and catch the film together.
Liana, who boasts an incredible 9.5 million TikTok fans, 1.7million followers on Instagram and 3.73 million YouTube followers, documented the trip on social media, including the moment her excited toddler met ‘real life princess’ Rachel.
Rachel shocked Liana and her husband Connor at the meet and greet when she immediately recognised Koazy, telling them she had watched their videos and sweetly telling the little boy: ‘you are so well spoken young man.’

Fans in the comments gushed about Rachel’s natural rapport with Koazy as she crouched down in her glam dress to chat to him about his favourite toys and his outfit.
The friendly encounter concluded with the actress autographing an apple on behalf of Koazy, making it a special, magical apple.
One fan enthusiastically remarked, “She was incredibly kind towards him and truly genuine.” Another concurred, “I admire how she lowered herself to engage with him at his level and paid him undivided attention.
On Sunday, the initial reactions to the latest Snow White movie hit the public domain, with the ongoing debate about the Disney reboot still causing a stir.
After facing a string of scandals and public relations disasters affecting the film, Disney has opted to downsize their extravagant premieres to only a few, carefully managed media events instead.
The film has previously been branded woke over fears it has prioritised its messaging over authentic storytelling – while it is claimed there is a feud between the two leading actresses Rachel and Gal Gadot.
A large scale premiere had been expected to take place at Leicester Square in London, but an insider informed DailyMail.com earlier this month that a decision was made to not hold one for the upcoming movie.

But despite the drama behind the scenes the early reviews for the film were glowingly positive, with both Rachel and Gal receiving praise.
Writing on Twitter, Variety’s film reporter Katcy Stephan penned: ‘Rachel Zegler is a shining supernova in #SnowWhite, beautifully embodying the graceful, gentle nature of the OG Disney princess.
‘The movie offers an array of stunning visuals featuring fresh musical sequences and a cast of captivating animated characters. The script cleverly develops its heroine by highlighting her determination to live up to her father’s faith in her leadership potential, and it presents a heartwarming romance that’s as delightful as a slice of homemade pie.
‘Matt DeGroot from Crooked Media expressed optimism, stating: ‘Contrary to popular belief, Disney’s remake of Snow White has generally been a success!’
‘Rachel Zegler is an absolute star, (most of) the new songs are catchy and beautifully performed, and the visual palette is sumptuous and vibrant. Gal Gadot had beautiful gowns.’

Despite the messiness of the bob hairstyle, Snow White remains quite endearing!
‘The message lands well, the critters are adorable, and Rachel Zegler and her enchanting voice are stunning. It almost got a full tear out of me, and I’ve never cried in my entire life.’
In response, Skyler Shuler of The DisInsider concurred on Twitter, expressing, “Initially, I had concerns, but trust me, Snow White embodies pure Disney enchantment!
‘This will end up being a lot of people’s favorite live-action remake.’
On Saturday, Rachel and Gal graced the red carpet at the US premiere of the film, but the event was surprisingly low-key considering its status as a $270 million Disney fantasy production.
Shining a light on bosses’ attempts to limit the difficult questions star Rachel could face about the film, a select number of photographers, far smaller than the number expected for a Disney premiere, were invited.

Noting the number of children that made up the guest list, the screening, held at LA’s El Capitan Theatre, took place at 3:30pm after a pre-party celebration that lasted just 90 minutes, according to Variety.
Over the weekend, when TMZ inquired about her feelings as Snow White was set to debut in theaters, Rachel simply replied, “It’s marvelous, appreciate it,” without addressing the controversy surrounding the movie.
There are whispers suggesting a hidden dispute between Rachel and Gal, stemming from their differing opinions about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
A source has revealed to People magazine that the two celebrities do not share any similarities and further stated that their political beliefs are also at odds, which exacerbates the tension between them.
Disney’s choice comes following criticism and fears that the remake prioritized ‘woke’ messaging over authentic storytelling.
Notably, the remake has dumped the traditional romance plot because of ‘sexism’ and reimagined the Seven Dwarfs as a diverse group of ‘magical creatures’.

Zegler herself has also criticized David Hand’s 1937 original animated film as ‘extremely dated when it comes to the ideas of women being in roles of power and what a woman’s fit for in the world’.
‘The original cartoon came out in 1937, and very evidently so,’ she told Extra TV in 2022.
In the previous version, there was an emphasis on her romantic tale involving a man who seems to be following her obsessively. That’s quite unusual. However, in this instance, we chose not to delve into such a narrative.
In a departure from what many might expect based on our casting, this film doesn’t follow the traditional path of a romantic tale.
‘All of Andrew’s scenes could get cut, who knows? It’s Hollywood, baby!’ she joked.
Regarding the 1937 film, she expressed: ‘The initial release made me really nervous. I believe I only watched it once, and I haven’t revisited it since. I’m genuinely sincere about this.’
Zegler also told Variety that her version of Snow White would be dreaming about becoming a ‘fearless leader’ rather than ‘dreaming about true love’.
