The 24-year-old actress, starring as Eva Peron, beamed with joy while thanking well-wishers who had gathered at the theater’s entrance, showing their appreciation for her performance.
As she headed back to her hotel, Rachel cut a casual figure in a black top and Alo jogging bottoms.
With a radiant grin that refused to fade, Snow White gracefully waved goodbye to her admirers, exiting the West End theater.
In this production, Rachel takes on the role of Eva Perón, a past Argentine First Lady, originally portrayed in a play that premiered in 1978. The show was penned by the renowned duo, Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
The story unfolds as she climbs her way up from humble beginnings, eventually achieving great political power and iconic status in Argentine culture.

A large crowd assembles exterior to the performance location, where the actress portraying Snow White sings “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina” from the balcony – a role previously renowned by figures such as Elaine Paige and Madonna.
Rachel, who found herself embroiled in controversy following the launch of Disney’s ‘progressive’ Snow White, is optimistic that her career may take a positive turn with the role of Evita.
After the recent announcement, Rachel expressed her excitement saying: ‘Ever since I was a child, listening to Evita has held a special place in my heart, especially those moments when my father and I sang ‘Don’t Cry for Me Argentina’ on our back porch.’
It’s a privilege beyond comparison to realize Jamie Lloyd’s unique, innovative concepts in a theatrical setting. For me, the stage has always been a place of comfort, and I eagerly anticipate my West End premiere amidst such esteemed colleagues.
In the meantime, Jamie expressed his enthusiasm, stating, ‘It’s absolutely thrilling to be teaming up with the extraordinarily gifted Rachel Zegler for Evita. She is a remarkable artist, and I can hardly wait for her first appearance on the West End stage as the legendary Eva Perón’.
‘Jamie Lloyd, a renowned and award-winning director, will be bringing a fresh take on the timeless musical “Evita,” written by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, back to the West End.’
Highlighting a well-known soundtrack that includes “Don’t Cry for Me, Argentina,” “Oh What a Circus,” “Another Suitcase in Another Hall,” and the Academy Award-winning “You Must Love Me”.
Driven by ambition and fervor, Eva Perón climbed out of poverty to be the most influential woman in Latin America. To countless Argentines, she was a beacon of hope; her light was radiant, captivating their hearts while stirring deep divisions within their nation.

Rachel has plenty of experience with musical theater, having played a leading role in Stephen Spielberg’s Academy Award-winning adaptation of West Side Story which was released in 2021.
Additional well-known individuals who have portrayed the renowned character Evita include Patti LuPone, Elaine Paige, and Madonna in the 1996 film adaptation.

The break dancer from Nottingham has appeared in shows such as Hamilton and the Lion King.
It’s assumed that they first crossed paths while both were participating in the rehearsals for the play “Evita,” which started in April, under the direction of Jamie Lloyd for his adaptation of the Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber musical.
For the last year, Nathan has been employed as a dancer in the Magic Mike Live production – a show conceptualized by Channing Tatum, who starred in movies with the same title.
