In a coming event, the young performers – Rachel, aged 23, and Kit, at 20 years old – are set to take the lead in the timeless work by Shakespeare, with previews commencing on September 26th.
Initially, the performance was scheduled to end in January 2025, but now it has been extended up until February 16.
On a Tuesday, the Instagram account for the show, @romeojuliet, informed followers that they were adding an additional four weeks on Broadway. They also mentioned that fans could secure early bird tickets by subscribing to their newsletter, which is accessible through the link provided in their bio.
Zegler excitedly shared the news with her 2.2 million followers via her Instagram Story.
She danced, sporting a purple crop top, while clutching a copy of Romeo and Juliet, expressing her thoughts through a post’s caption.
She expressed, ‘When I’m premiering on Broadway with my ideal director at my preferred theater, alongside an exceptional cast, there’s such immense interest that we’ve been forced to prolong the show for a whole month! Now, I get to perform it until February 16.’
The Snow White sensation added a string of smiley emoji with red hearts.
She also noted, ‘There isn’t a happier girl in the world this morning.’
Rehearsals recently kicked off ahead of the opening night show on October 24.

Rachel and Kit first sparked enthusiasm among fans regarding their forthcoming show in April, as they each shared the letters R and J on their social networking platforms.
