Rachel Stevens makes very public statement of love for Dancing On Ice pro boyfriend Brendyn Hatfield as she calls him her ‘soulmate and love’ in rare post on his 40th birthday

In an uncommon Instagram post on Sunday, Rachel Stevens referred to her partner Brendyn Hatfield as her “soul mate,” accompanied by photos of them together.

45-year-old member of the band S Club, affectionately known as Rachel, appeared smitten with 40-year-old skater from Dancing On Ice, Brendyn, in a photograph where their smiles radiated. The picture was taken with Rachel adorning a black pearl necklace that complemented Brendyn’s black polo shirt.

Rachel wrote a caption saying: ‘Celebrating you, @brendynhatfield, on your birthday! My dear, my one true love. Wishing you the most joyful day and a warm welcome to your 40s!’

I truly hope that this decade brings you the very best, filled with all your desires. My affection for you knows no bounds. ❤️

At a different moment, they were photographed at the Rom Com Entertainment Christmas Bash, where Rachel donned a chic black lace blouse and a handbag featuring white polka dots, and Brendyn looked sharp in a navy-blue suit paired with a gray tee.

Different photos depict the duo holding hands, enjoying a swim, celebrating together at parties, and attending festivals – all while one image specifically highlights Brendyn’s shiny ‘Carpe Diem’ ring.

In November, they made their relationship official, having initially met and formed a bond during their participation in Dancing On Ice earlier in 2022. Prior to this, news about the ending of her marriage with Alex Bourne was announced towards the end of the same year.

After approximately 13 years of marriage, Alex and Rachel parted ways. The musician expressed their gratitude through an Instagram post: ‘I simply wanted to express my heartfelt appreciation for all the wonderful messages of love and support you’ve shared. It truly means a lot.’

The singer let her fans know of the sad news via social media at the time. 

I’d like to inform everyone that, after careful thought, Alex and I have decided it’s best for us to go our separate ways.

Although our marriage has ended, we’ll still be co-parents, united by our shared love for our wonderful daughters. We’ll continue to treat each other with love and respect moving forward.

Rachel addressed her split with Alex in an interview with The Sun.  

She mentioned that the separation was quite chaotic. She acknowledged that both she and her partner were evolving, drifting apart, but she found herself in a state of confusion mainly due to concerns about her children initially.

Rachel shared that it was incredibly nerve-wracking when she told Alex about Brendyn confessing, since she knew immediately that the conversation had reached a turning point.

She then gushed about her new partner: ‘He’s a beautiful human, I really love him.’

In Week 4, it was unfortunate that Rachel and Brendyn were among the initial pairs to be removed from the skating competition. Despite this setback, it didn’t spoil their relationship.
