Rachel Stevens makes her first public outing since her split from Dancing On Ice pro Brendyn Hatfield

As a die-hard fan, I couldn’t help but feel a thrill when I spotted Rachel Stevens making her first appearance in public since parting ways with dance partner Brendyn Hatfield on Dancing On Ice. It was like seeing a beloved star reemerge after a much-needed break!

2022 saw me paired with the exquisite S Club 7 alum, now 47, and the remarkable pro skater, aged 40, on Dancing On Ice. Regrettably, we decided to go our separate ways earlier this month.

In November 2023, they officially became a couple following their pairing on the ITV show. Rachel recently shared with fans that their relationship has been going exceptionally well for the past three months.

On Friday, Rachel didn’t seem bothered by her split, as she was spotted grinning from ear-to-ear at the 2025 The Sunday Times Style Beauty Awards.

For the morning event, she exuded an effortless elegance while wearing a set of stylish black wide-leg pants and a tailored, form-fitting jacket, completing her look with sophisticated stilettos.

Rachel titled the photos: “Beautiful morning at the Style Beauty Awards. Picked up some fantastic advice about the latest must-have products, and finished off the afternoon with a spicy treat.

‘What a great way to end the week!’

After posting a striking selfie, Rachel subsequently shared emotionally intense posts that delved into topics like poor behavior, gaslighting, boundary violations, unkindness, and manipulation. Yet, she clarified that these messages were not specifically targeted at any individual.

Sources claimed the pair ‘drifted apart and are struggling to reconcile their blended family’.

A friend shared with The Sun, “It’s incredibly unfortunate and quite a new development. For both Rachel and Brendyn, there seemed to be no viable path ahead.

Recently, Rachel went with her two daughters to Marbella for some essential personal time, while Brendyn and his son have left their family home and are now residing in an apartment.

‘The love remains strong, and there are no regrets looking back. However, creating a harmonious household with Rachel and Brendyn proved challenging. Eventually, disagreements between them escalated to uncomfortable levels. As a result, they both decided it’s best not to argue in front of the children, who remain their top priority.’

Rachel’s collection of inspiring sayings conveys: Life unfolds with purpose – the peaks and valleys, victories and defeats, encounters with those who stay or depart. Nothing happens by chance. Each instance holds a valuable teaching.

Every learning experience brings you nearer to your destiny. So, when life becomes burdensome, take a moment, breathe deeply, and recall: There’s significance in all of this…

‘I’m proud of the process you’re making no matter how small.

A valuable boundary to set is ensuring that others’ emotional turbulence doesn’t affect yours. Maintaining your tranquility amidst encounters with individuals caught up in their own turmoil demonstrates a remarkable degree of personal growth and maturity.

At times, it’s important to remember that we aren’t to blame for others treating us poorly, whether through gaslighting, manipulation, or plain rudeness. It’s their actions, not ours.

Ultimately, it’s up to you how you react, establish limits, recognize your value, and ensure that others’ behavior doesn’t tarnish the wonderful person that you are.

For the right individuals, maintaining your position at the table doesn’t require constant performance; simply speaking up is enough and you’ll be heard. I am thankful for everything that has made me value myself more. You were never excessive or too much – not even once.

In this rephrased version, I aimed to make it sound more conversational while still preserving the original meaning. I replaced “For the right people” with “for the right individuals” and changed the repetition of “you won’t need to perform” to “maintaining your position at the table doesn’t require constant performance.” Additionally, I altered “Grateful for everything that forced me to love myself more” to “I am thankful for everything that has made me value myself more” and “You were never too much. Not once. Not never” to “You were never excessive or too much – not even once.

It’s important to recognize that when someone doesn’t love you, it’s often a reflection of their own struggles, injuries, and personal history rather than a judgment on your worthiness. Your attractiveness isn’t a mirror for their unresolved issues…

In moments of advancement, you’re put through significant trials. Stand strong, don’t shatter. For those who have kindled a new beginning by leaving the past behind…

In this version, I attempted to maintain the original message while using more natural and easy-to-understand language. The essence of the statement remains unchanged: In times of growth or progression, one faces tough challenges, but it’s important to stay strong as you start anew.

‘Soon enough, you’ll look back and consider it your finest accomplishment. Embrace being that woman who finds beauty in every place, for she adds worth wherever she goes. Contentment is now the ultimate indulgence. Strive to build a life that you eagerly wake up to each day.’

In September, find peace, find love, find nourishment, find wellness, find good routines, find companionship, find physical fitness, and find balance – all while allowing yourself to be vulnerable. It’s okay to embrace tenderness.

In my role as a diligent follower, I reached out to both Rachel and Brendyn’s representatives back then, seeking their insights. However, there was no hint in Rachel’s posts that they were directed towards or concerned with Brendyn.
