Rachel Ray emerges amid health concerns to host burger contest with Brooklyn Beckham

Rachael Ray and Brooklyn Peltz Beckham teamed up at the Blue Moon Burger Bash 2.0, despite recent worries about Ray’s health.

The 57-year-old Food Network star was thrilled to join 26-year-old Beckham on stage, calling him ‘amazing’ and sharing a warm hug, according to a video from TMZ.

Rachael enthusiastically shared that she’s always done all the work herself when organizing these burger parties, but this person was a real help! She had a great time and expressed her gratitude for their amazing support.

‘Thank you so much, so are you,’ Brooklyn replied before they hugged on stage.

The Burger Bash, a popular event at New York City Wine & Food Festival, challenges chefs and restaurants from across the city to create their best burgers and compete for the title of Burger Bash champion.

This year, Ray, who has hosted for a long time, was joined by Beckham as a co-host. Beckham was also promoting his hot sauce, Cloud23, which attendees got to try.

The fun-filled appearance comes amid concerns about Ray’s health.

Ray posted a video on Instagram for Mother’s Day that worried her followers. In the clip, she appeared to be struggling and her speech was difficult to understand as she supported herself on the kitchen stove.

Last October, Ray mentioned she’d had a couple of falls while bringing in firewood. However, it turns out that wasn’t the whole truth.

A source told the Daily Mail in May that Ray’s family is concerned about her health and happiness.

Friends and family are worried about Rachael. She’s been distancing herself from people and is now living a very private life, according to a source.

They said she appears withdrawn and doesn’t react when people try to connect with her. They also noted a significant change in her self-care, explaining that she used to be very particular about her appearance, but now seems indifferent, which suggests something more serious is happening.

It has not helped that she has suffered a string of career setbacks.

Rachael Ray’s popular talk show, *The Rachael Ray Show*, which began in 2006, ended after 17 successful seasons in 2023. She quickly followed this up with a new show, *Meals in Minutes*, launching in April 2024, and its third season became available in May.

However, the cancellation of the show that made her name no doubt came as a blow.

According to a source who spoke with the Daily Mail, Ray has been struggling since the show finished. The show was incredibly important to her – it was something she was very proud of and a major part of her life for years.

I was so excited to meet the cook in New York this June! She was doing a special event where fans could meet her and get bottles of her amazing ‘Staple Gin’ signed. It was a really cool experience!

The event, held at Broadway Spirits in Manhattan, didn’t start as well as expected, despite initial buzz on social media. An insider told the Daily Mail that only about 20 fans were waiting in line when the signing was scheduled to begin.

In September 2024, fans became worried after Ray shared a video that seemed to show her speaking with difficulty.

Rachael Ray surprised viewers by sharing a clip from her upcoming show, “Rachael Ray in Tuscany.” The preview featured her making Ossobuco and honoring the memory of Tony Bennett.

I was really struck by Ray’s emotional story about Bennett hitting his head on her marble counter. She was so upset, she actually worried she’d seriously hurt him, even thought she might have ‘killed him’! It was so distressing to hear, it actually made a lot of us fans start wondering how *she* was doing after such a scary experience.

One viewer wondered if the speaker’s speech was unclear, questioning whether the issue was with the speaker or with their own perception. Another expressed concern, writing, ‘I love you, but are you okay? I’m seriously worried.’

People expressed concern online, wondering what was happening with Rachael Ray. Some noted she’s getting older, and suggested she might be dealing with a health issue or medication side effects, urging others not to be unkind.

The Daily Mail has previously reached out to Ray’s representative for comment.
