Rachel Lindsay’s Fresh Start: Inside Her Divorce Settlement and New Beginnings

Rachel Lindsay is excited about the prospect of beginning anew, as she has recently finalized her divorce with Bryan Abasolo.

On January 7th, nearly a year since their first court filing, the couple who became acquainted during season 13 of The Bachelorette officially ended their marriage.

For four years, they had been married, but after separating last year, they became entangled in lengthy legal discussions.

Currently, The Bachelorette’s former contestant, who previously appeared in Season 21 of The Bachelor, has shared that she’s feeling fantastic, as reported by TMZ.

In the grand scheme of things, I can’t help but feel ecstatically elated! Not only am I keeping the stunning abode in North Hollywood, but also the sleek Porsche Macan that’s been my dream ride for ages. To top it off, I get to own an array of captivating artwork and other treasures – all part of the incredible deal!

Recently this month, the sports lawyer has spoken up following her previous comments that the prolonged divorce proceedings were more complicated than needed.

1. She explained that their divorce was drawn-out and complex due to the absence of a prenuptial agreement. In the future, Lindsay mentioned that she would not remarry without a prenup.

2. She conveyed that their divorce was protracted and intricate since they hadn’t agreed on a premarital contract. Lindsay made it clear that next time, she wouldn’t tie the knot without one.

3. She disclosed that their divorce was prolonged and convoluted because no prenup had been signed. In future, Lindsay insisted that she would not enter into matrimony without a prenup.

4. She confided that her divorce was drawn-out and involved many complications as they didn’t have a prenuptial agreement. Lindsay expressed that she wouldn’t marry again without a prenup.

During their divorce process, the ex-spouses continually discussed and adjusted their financial matters.

Abasolo kept asking Lindsay for spousal support, but they often argued over their differing versions of when and how Abasolo decided to file for divorce.

Previously, she was ordered to pay $13k a month in temporary spousal support over the summer.

According to recent court papers, it’s been unveiled that Abasolo no longer requires Lindsay to pay any future installments she was previously obligated to, as he has chosen to forgo, absolve, and free her from such responsibilities entirely.

Additionally, according to the legal records, the chiropractor claimed that his wife demonstrated no enthusiasm for his profession and sought to keep him away from it, as well as out of the Hollywood scene.

He claimed he had ‘endured years of her verbal manipulation.’

During their four-year marriage, Lindsay asserted that they seldom went out together because Abasolo frequently worked long hours at night and she often had to travel for work.

According to her statement in June, they seldom crossed paths or resided under the same roof throughout their short-lived marriage.

In the latest installment of her Higher Learning podcast, she disclosed: ‘I’m now divorced. Praise be to God. Play me some liberating tunes. Some songs that symbolize liberty.’

To those who were listening, she shared: “As soon as he departed from our home, following his stay of seven months since our separation, I felt like we were officially divorced. Let me tell you, there are many thoughts I have been holding back.

Lindsay stated, ‘I needed to give in on things I wasn’t particularly keen on, and ultimately, the tranquility of my mind turns out to be invaluable.’

I’m eager to begin the process of rebuilding and making progress, and I’m ready to take that step now. It feels fantastic to have this opportunity to move forward.

She continued, “I haven’t spoken yet, but I plan to and I’m working through everything I want to discuss. There are numerous topics on my mind.

She similarly expressed her stance on marrying without a prenuptial agreement, stating that she wouldn’t enter into another marriage without one.

She went on to say, “However, this experience has significantly altered my viewpoint on all matters. To be honest, I’m not sure if I would remarry. Frankly, it’s hard for me to imagine it.

Approximately a year following the submission of their divorce papers, Lindsay and Abasolo’s marriage legally terminated.
