I was absolutely floored by Tuesday’s episode! Honestly, Rachel and Stephen played Matthew so well, setting him up for banishment. Everyone’s calling Rachel the ultimate betrayer, and I kind of get why – it was a masterful, though ruthless, move. I haven’t seen a setup that clean in ages!

Last week on the show, Claudia Winkleman told the Traitors they could give one player a special sword, which would count as two votes during the next Round Table discussion.

Stephen and Rachel, who are secretly working against the others, chose James because he’s been actively trying to eliminate Matthew for several days. He even admitted on the show that he intends to vote Matthew out.

This works hugely in their favour as he suspects Stephen could in fact be a Traitor.

Fans noticed Stephen has a well-known friend after watching a video of his family and friends reacting to the premiere of his show.

The guest watching Stephen get named a Traitor was none other than comedian Lou Sanders.

Lou, age 47, was the winner of Taskmaster’s eighth season in 2019. More recently, in 2023, she was featured in the Prime Video series, Last One Laughing.

She’s also been on TV shows like Dancing On Ice, The Weakest Link, and Richard Osman’s House Of Games, among others.

Rumors started circulating on social media claiming Lou was Stephen and his boyfriend, actor Daniel Quirke’s, landlord.
