R6 NAL Finals 2025: M80 to defend their Major pride in the home region

Just three teams are left competing for the championship in North America, and it will be decided in three final games.

North America’s standing in Rainbow Six Siege esports has improved dramatically. Once consistently considered the third-best region worldwide, North America now boasts the Major champions.

M80 had a stunning win in Munich, beating out top contenders to become champions! Now, they’re setting their sights on the Six Invitational, but first, they want to finish as the number one team in North America at the 2025 Regional Finals.

Now that the early rounds are over, only two teams remain who can challenge the champions of the Munich Major. Spacestation Gaming will face M8 in the upper bracket final, while Shopify Rebellion will compete in the lower bracket final, waiting for a chance to advance.

NAL Regional Finals happen on the weekend from Dec. 13 to Dec. 14.

  • Saturday, Dec. 13: The upper final, M80 vs Spacestation Gaming, and the lower finals, Shopify Rebellion vs TBD.
  • Sunday, Dec. 14: The grand finals, TBD vs TBD.

This section provides a breakdown of every important match from the North American R6 Regional Finals.

The top teams from the upper bracket automatically qualify for the grand finals. The lower bracket match will determine who gets eliminated. Ultimately, only one Rainbow Six Siege X team will be crowned the NAL 2025 Champions.

Regional competition and the spike of international success

Following the R6 Munich Major in 2025, all attention will be on M80 as they compete in the NAL Regional Finals in 2025 and look ahead to the Six Invitational in 2026.

  • To reach the upper final, M80 defeated Oxygen Gaming. It was a tough match, and OXG even had a 7:2 win on Map 2, Kafe.

M80 is a team known for facing strong opponents. They fought their way to victory in the Major after initially losing to FaZe and being sent to the lower bracket. Along the way, they defeated Secret and Falcons from the Europe MENA League, Wildcard from their own region, and finally, FaZe – a particularly satisfying win considering their earlier loss to them in the South America League.

Regional contenders

M80’s strong performance on the international stage is a bit of a surprise. Unlike other top teams from the North American League Regional Finals 2025, they actually qualified for the Major’s Playoffs.

  • Spacestation Gaming defeated Shopify Rebellion in the regional semifinal. They started with a 7:1 on Clubhouse and had a much tougher battle on Nighthaven Labs, 8:7.

In Munich, Spacestation Gaming lost three matches of the Swiss stage and were eliminated.

Shopify Rebellion began the 2025 R6 North American League Regional Finals with a defeat, but they managed to win two crucial matches to advance to the lower bracket final.

  • After losing to SSG, Shopify Rebellion defeated DarkZero and Oxygen Gaming. They had a 7:1 win over OXG on the decisive map, Kafe.

Shopify Rebellion only secured one victory at the Rainbow Six Siege X Munich Major 2025, and it was against a strong opponent: FURIA, the champions of RE:LO:AD 2025.

If a team wins the R6 Regional Finals in 2025, they’ll automatically qualify for the Six Invitational 2026. This major world championship, featuring the top teams from around the globe, will take place from February 2nd to 15th.
