Overview

  • Great Offensive DPS that has great core damage scaling (Major Damage Multiplier) but her DPS plummets when there is no core to hit.
  • Quency has massive Hit rate buffs to help her consistently core hit. Has pin point accuracy with the aid of hit-rate overload rolls (4x)
  • Out DPS’s Scarlet by a good margin when factoring Core hits. However, Quency benefits less from meta supporters with ATK DMG up (Tia, Crown) due to having built in ATK DMG up from her kit. Damage taken debuffers are preferred (Blanc, Novel)
  • Also Out-DPS’s Ludmilla: Winter owner, who is comparable to Modernia with the right overloaded gear lines. This makes her Potentially the Second/Third Strongest Single Target Nikke (Single Target Referring to no parts), 1st being Scarlet Black Shadow, Second/Third Being Macro Alice
  • Unusually fast reload speed with decent base ammo capacity, Max ammo rolls for overloaded gear can be slotted in for more offensive stats.
  • Her Back Arch is INSANE

Normal ATK information

As a seasoned Commander who’s seen countless battles and faced numerous challenges in the world of Nikke, let me weigh in on this latest addition to our roster: Quency: Escape Queen.

Quency possesses the ability to fire two attacks simultaneously with a single shot, effectively doubling her standard attack power.

Quency: Escape Queen Analysis and Theorycraft – Should you Pull?

Her base attack value increases by approximately 10.12% with each shot, which is effectively 5.06% multiplied by two. This gives her attack values a slightly elevated status relative to others, considering her rapid-fire rate of 20 shots per second compared to other weapon types.

Newbie/Incomplete Box Section

Qunity excels as a top-tier Damage Per Second (DPS) character for beginners in both campaign and boss fights. Her true potential is realized when her skill level 2 is maximally upgraded, offering significant attack boosts and hit rate enhancements, along with increased chances of landing precise attacks, typically ranging from three to four times the normal rate.

As a seasoned gamer who has spent countless hours battling it out in various shooter games, I can confidently say that this character truly shines when equipped with a Submachine Gun (SMG). The core damage multipliers on these bad boys are significantly higher than other weapons, boasting a whopping 250% compared to the standard 200%.

Despite Quency’s damage significantly decreasing when there is no core to target, fortunately, most bosses possess exposed cores that Quency can readily attack. In situations where no cores are available to hit, Quency’s damage should be marginally lower than Scarlet’s damage. However, Scarlet has an edge due to being more effective when included in meta support teams like Crown or Tia Teams, making it easier for her to be buffed.

If Quency has the advantage of using skill books, he’ll deal significantly more damage than Scarlet by at least 50% or more in terms of DPS (Damage Per Second), provided both characters have maximized their skills.

(Poor Scarlet always being the DPS benchmark to check if a Nikke is a good DPS unit)

Skills

Quency: Escape Queen Analysis and Theorycraft – Should you Pull?

Skill 1: Secure Route

This ability becomes active when each stage of the Explore Route is completely filled:

Clear and Intuitive Ability: The key point to understand is that Distributed Damage and ATK Damage (Boosted by Burst) belong to separate damage ranges and their effects are multiplicative, not additive. This implies that her burst attack can inflict significant damage on single-target enemies when rapturing.

Skill 2: Explore Route

This ability becomes active after landing two normal attacks, affecting the user directly. The effects in each phase can differ, with previous effects repeating.

A highly effective ability boasting significant boosts to offensive power. The accumulated attack bonuses amount to a total of 110%, maintaining nearly constant activation. Notably, her stage 3 buffs vanish with each reload, yet they’re quickly regained in under a second.

With her exceptional hit rate boosts, Quency can reliably strike raptures effectively at any distance, using either four times the hit rate bonus from her loaded equipment or support from teammates who increase hit rate. If she’s without the overloaded gear or team hit rate assistance, however, Quency may struggle to land hits in mid to long ranges.

Manual Play Importance (Bonus Hit Rate)

Playing a character manually offers an increased chance of successful hits (due to certain factors), and it can assist Quency in landing a critical hit when her accuracy falls short of 100%. This adjustment means that instead of needing a hit rate four times greater, you only need a hit rate three times greater to ensure success.

As a gamer, when I’m “in the thick of it,” meaning controlling my character and manually adjusting my aim with the mouse, that’s known as manual playing. Even if aim assist is enabled in the settings, the hit rate bonus still applies. On the other hand, if I’m not directly controlling my character or have auto-aim activated, then I’m not playing manually.

Quency’s enhancements accumulate completely after firing, although this duration isn’t extensive; however, keep in mind that these enhancements may frequently disappear when using her during the Campaign due to the brief duration of her buff and frequent changes in target. Still, handling Elite Raptors or Bosses with Quency shouldn’t present any problems.

Burst: The Great Thief

Improves its own performance.

Quency’s powerful blast is particularly strong, sometimes even more so than Dorothy’s (8.8k%), given the right team compositions. This is largely because she occupies the Burst III slot (previously held slots can boost her strength) and due to her unique characteristic that her buffs are multiplicative, meaning her Attack Damage increases both in magnitude and distribution.

Her attack can deal both regular damage and critical damage, as well as elemental damage, whereas Dorothy’s attack does not have that capability. Moreover, Quency’s attack strikes twice, but this doesn’t amplify the overall burst damage, instead it enhances her critical hit consistency.

Distributed Damage Explained

Damage Spread Across Rifts refers to the damage that’s divided among cracks or rifts on the screen. Skills with spread-out damage will inflict less harm on each rift as the number of rifts in the screen increases.

In simpler terms, if there are 10 targets (raptures) on the screen and the skill multiplies your attack power by 1000%, each target will receive 1/10 of that damage (or 100% of your original attack power). While this isn’t a problem in boss fights because there is typically only one target, it becomes noticeable in Campaign mode due to multiple targets.

Extra Notes

Quency Vs Ludmilla: Winter Owner and Hit Rate Factors

Hit Rate is EXTREMELY Important when it comes to Quency’s DPS.

Having Ludmilla Winter in your team significantly boosts the amount of damage you deal compared to not having her, making it possible to win where otherwise you might lose. For commanders who don’t possess Ludmilla Winter, she deals comparable damage to Modernia, and both are far ahead in terms of DPS when compared to Scarlet.

This is especially important when using with Naga Teams and distance from boss (Close, Mid, Far)

Case 1 (Firing Range Boss, Elem+)

Quency: Escape Queen Analysis and Theorycraft – Should you Pull?

OL Stats:

OL Stats:

Ludmilla: Elem Damage 59%, ATK 33%
Quency: Elem Damage 87%, ATK 9%, 1x Hit Rate

“More images cases will be added later, but for now, the ‘Harvester’ has a Mid-Range Core that helps reduce the damage per second (DPS) loss when high hit rate rolls are missing on the ‘Overload Gear’.

Campaign

Quency is likely to excel in the Campaign and may find Naga’s boost useful due to her knack for efficiently striking cores when equipped with suitable item stats (a high hit rate of about 3-4 times).

If Quency possessed area-of-effect abilities or piercing capabilities, she could have been an exceptional choice for element-neutral content. However, she excels particularly well as a boss and elite Rapture killer. To maximize her potential, consider pairing her with a burst generator such as Centi, Red Hood, Alice, Anis, Emilia, or others when necessary. Quency is also an excellent addition to the Missilis Tribe Tower.

Quency Best in Slot Team

Liter,Crown,Quency: Escape Queen,Red Hood,Naga

Summary, 6.5/10 Campaign Clearing

In this scenario, we anticipate the optimal team setup considering Quency has a 4x hit rate, which allows her to deal a core hit effectively from any distance. If Quency doesn’t have this ability, it might be necessary to substitute Naga with another character who possesses Burst III DPS or is capable of generating bursts, as required.

To maximize Quency’s burst effect against elites or bosses, it’s crucial to first eliminate all the common raptures on the screen. This way, her burst damage will be more concentrated and not spread too thin.

In water-weak boss battles, employ Red Hood’s Burst ability. However, during stage encounters without an elemental bias, players can instead utilize Red Hood (or Quency) Burst.

Skill Investments / Heavy Investment / Doll Priority

Assume All skills of team members are at least 5/5/5.

  • Mid Game: Red Hood 7/7/7 -> Quency: Escape Queen 7/7/7-> Crown 7/7/7 -> Naga 7/5/5 -> Liter 7/5/7
  • Late Game: Red Hood 10/10/10 -> Quency: Escape Queen 10/10/10-> Crown 10/10/10 -> Naga 10/7/5 -> Liter 10/5/10

Doll Priority

Paraphrase for Red Hood could be “Robin in the Red Mask” or “Red-Masked Robin”. These suggestions maintain the character’s identity while providing a fresh perspective that is easy to understand.

Arena

Quency’s powerful burst can quickly overpower opponents, yet she struggles to generate this burst frequently due to its dispersed nature, and her water-based abilities make her vulnerable when facing off against Scarlet and Anis during the Sparkling Summer event.

Quency requires slightly higher Cost-Per-Unit (CP) than Scarlet to quickly defeat teams. While she’s very useful in Player versus Player (PvP), she’s not typically the first choice for top picks.

Special Interception | Solo Raid | Union Raid

Special Interception

Quency is effective against any interception boss, but she truly excels and is ideal for use against Chatterbox and Blacksmith (particularly when they’re water weak). It should be noted that she performs exceptionally well outside of the need to counter Nikkes with piercing abilities. She functions particularly well with those who lack complete Nikke boxes or top-tier support characters, as all the boosts she requires are already included in her own kit.

Anomaly (Harvester)

Quency outperforms Anomaly Harvester significantly when it comes to head-on battles, as long as the Commander can breach its outer shell to expose the core.

Head Break Team

Liter,Crown,Quency: Escape Queen,Ludmilla: Winter owner,Naga

As a gamer, when the Commander’s damage per second (DPS) isn’t enough to crack the enemy’s core head early, it might be wise to consider using Pierce options instead. You see, these Pierce Nikkes have a unique ability to strike twice, and those extra hits directly target the enemy’s vulnerable head, dealing significant damage.

Pierce Nikkes

Asuka,Alice,Red Hood,Maxwell,Snow White

Solo Raid | Union Raid

In the realm of water-based damage for single player raids, Quency: Escape Queen stands virtually unchallenged as the top choice. When compared to teams led by Red Hood’s Tia and Naga, Quency can maintain nearly constant effectiveness in situations where no additional parts are available.

Water Weak Solo Raid

Liter,Crown,Quency: Escape Queen,Ludmilla: Winter Owner,attacker

Typically, Crown squads are meant for Alice/SBS teams, but if a player’s equipment has sufficient rolls for elemental damage against water-weak foes, it is likely that Quency and Ludmilla: Winter Owner will deal more damage than the Alice/SBS team, resulting in higher overall damage.

Alice or SBS could fit in either the Blanc/Rogue Squad or the Tia/Naga Squad. If survival concerns arise for other teams, Liter can be swapped with another CDR (Cover Repair Device) as needed.

If Commander doesn’t have Ludmilla: Winter Owner and Alice/SBS is completely leveled up, you can place Quency in either a Tia/Naga Squad or Blanc Squad as an alternative.

Element Neutral + No Parts w/ Core

Tia,Liter,Naga,Quency: Escape Queen,Ludmilla: Winter Owner

Tia or Naga is typically placed in Red Hood squads, but considering that Quency has higher single-target damage than Red Hood, it’s possible to swap them out. This is because Quency gains significant advantage from a core hitting role. If other teams require survivability boosts, Liter can be replaced with any Cooldown Reduction (CDR) ability. In situations where cover repair is necessary, it can be utilized instead.

Elemental Neutral Blanc Team

Blanc,Quency: Escape Queen,Rouge,Attacker,Attacker

It’s highly probable that the Collab Duo (Rogue, Blanc, Asuka, Rei Ayanami, Modernia) will be kept as the Bunny team. Although Quency has the highest single-target damage among all DPS characters, the entire team works exceptionally well together and is likely to outperform any slot that Quency might fill.

If the Commander doesn’t have the required Nikkes, specifically two Collabs and one Pilgrim, then Quency could easily join White squads as an alternative. Just team her up with your strongest non-DPS characters instead.

Should You Pull?

So far, there hasn’t been an event featuring Nikke, our character, quite as powerful as “Quency: Escape Queen”, except for Alice. If we exclude the anniversary events, I would examine a list of factors before deciding whether to summon her.

  1. Focused on Solo Raid Rankings? (Especially this Season)
  2. Very Incomplete Nikke boxes for boss battles (No Top tier DPS’s in their Nikke Roster, or at most 1) Top Tier being SS+
  3. (if one and two applies) Have enough resources to Overload gear and raise her skills to 10/10/10?
  4. Weak to insane Back Archs?
Quency: Escape Queen Analysis and Theorycraft – Should you Pull?

If many of these criteria are met, I might request a duplicate of the item, using the wishlist system as a source.

If patience is your virtue and these matters hold no significance for you, then the Commander can afford to wait and observe what transpires on the anniversary.

S2 > S1Her skill 1 isn’t too important for her overall DPS.

However, her skill 2 Provides much more value and is recommended to raise ASAP as it provides a lot of ATK up and Hit rate.

Her burst is also important as it provides her with ATK Damage up and a hard-hitting burst.
