Pussycat Dolls feud erupts as former band members slam reunion tour after being ‘blatantly’ left out

A major disagreement has broken out among the members of The Pussycat Dolls, shortly after they revealed plans for their first world tour in 17 years.

The popular group, formerly a six-member band, is getting back together with Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, and Kimberly Wyatt. The trio is planning a large 53-city tour across the UK, Europe, and North America.

However, three original members—Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta, and Melody Thornton—won’t be joining the upcoming tour.

Carmit and Jessica have shared that they were surprised by the reunion, as they weren’t invited to participate.

Okay, so here’s the latest! I saw that Carmit shared a video on her Instagram – it was actually from the former producer of that girl group, Eddie Serrano, and he was sharing his thoughts on their recent reunion. It seems he wasn’t exactly thrilled about it, and Carmit wanted to make sure everyone saw what he had to say.

He explained he was there to discuss a single topic, and mentioned having a close friendship with several members of the Pussycat Dolls, specifically calling Carmit his sister.

I’m really disappointed about this Pussycat Dolls reunion. It bothers me that some of the original members, who were key to creating the group’s success, aren’t included.

We have to view them as a complete group, not just as individuals who used to be in the Pussycat Dolls. Right now, they’re only the ‘Pussy’ part of the name, without the full ‘Dolls’ identity.

Alongside the clip, the singer wrote: ‘Luv you.’

Jessica shared that she was just as surprised by the reunion announcement as everyone else, learning about it when it was made public.

When a fan inquired about a potential reunion with the Pussycat Dolls, Jessica Sutta stated she wouldn’t be participating.

They’ve been planning this for a year, and completely left Carmit and me out of the loop. We’re just finding out about it now, at the same time as you are.

Jessica followed up by posting a series of vague messages on her Instagram Stories that seemed to be directed at her bandmates.

Okay, so I saw this thing and it totally spoke to me. It was like, ‘Just trust that God is taking away the people who aren’t right for your life and showing you what you need to know, even if it’s painful.’ Seriously, it’s like He’s clearing space for the real things, you know? For what’s meant to be mine. It just… resonates, you know?

Someone else pointed out that simply attending church doesn’t excuse unkind or unethical behavior – God notices how you treat people and what actions you take.

Another message said: ‘The people who caused you pain will witness God’s incredible healing in your life – it will be obvious, amazing, and far greater than they ever imagined.’

Former member Melody Thornton has so far remained silent about the reunion.

Oh my gosh, when the Dolls first split back in 2010, it broke my heart! Kimberly actually said she felt stifled, like she just couldn’t express herself creatively within the group anymore. It was so sad to hear, but I totally understood wanting to explore her own thing, you know?

Nicole pursued a solo music career, and in 2019, the group came back together with five members, but without Melody Thornton. They released a single called “React” and planned a reunion tour for 2020, which unfortunately had to be cancelled because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been hearing whispers about a potential reunion, and things really started buzzing when I heard the group was recently spotted having a fabulous night out at Gaia in Mayfair, London. It definitely got everyone talking!

Tickets for the much-awaited UK and European tour go on sale Wednesday, March 18th for those with pre-sale access, and become available to the general public on Friday, March 20th.
