Pure dominance: Gen.G go undefeated in LCK regular season
General Gaming (Gen.G) has achieved an unprecedented feat by becoming only the second team in League Champions Korea (LCK) history to complete a regular season without a single loss, demonstrating unquestionable mastery and supremacy.
In the LCK Spring Split 2025, Gen.G concluded the regular season undefeated, matching their wins with no losses. This ties their record with T1’s perfect regular season in 2022.
Gen.G dominates the regular season
Gen.G demonstrated their unmatched strength throughout 18 series, maintaining an unbeaten streak and displaying remarkable dominance. Out of the 36 matches they played, they only suffered defeats five times, never wavering from their command or giving other teams a chance to contest their superiority. In contrast, T1 set a historic record in 2022 but lost two additional games in a best-of-three setup.
In the 2024 Summer Split, Gen.G nearly accomplished it, but KT Rolster thwarted their efforts. As a result, only Gen.G and T1 have managed to finish with an unblemished regular season record.
BRO vs GEN
In the final game of the regular season, our team faced off against OKSavingsBank BRION (BRO). Initially, BRO took the lead, dominating the first game and even initiating aggressive pushes towards objectives. However, at the 15-minute mark, Gen.G showcased an incredible display of skill to retake control of the match. As the game progressed, BRO struggled to make any impact, with Gen.G’s presence on the map becoming omnipresent. They amassed a nearly 10k gold lead by the end of the game, with their yellow and black uniforms seemingly everywhere they looked.
In Game 2, BRO appeared slightly less self-assured compared to their opening performance, which led to a more evenly matched game compared to Game 1. Despite this, they persisted and made efforts for every objective, resulting in nearly identical gold totals for both teams. However, Gen.G’s strength and dominance were evident, and their draft strategy proved to be exceptionally effective.
