Puppey returns to NAVI after 10 years since founding Team Secret

Puppey returns to NAVI after 10 years since founding Team Secret

As a long-time NAVI fan with over a decade of watching Dota 2, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the return of the legendary captain, Puppey! The prospect of seeing him back in action alongside some familiar faces is truly exhilarating. It’s like traveling down memory lane to the good old days when NAVI was a powerhouse in the Dota 2 scene.

Navi has revealed that their iconic captain, puppey, will rejoin the team for the Dream League Season 24 qualifiers and future competitions.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve joined forces with NAVI for DreamLeague Season 24 and other upcoming Dota 2 tournaments! Our new lineup includes familiar faces and temporary replacements, with the legendary TI1 champion and former captain, Clement “Puppey” Ivanov, making a comeback to our ranks. Can’t wait to see what we can achieve together!

Puppey returns NAVI to stand in for qualifiers

As per NAVI’s announcement, Dmytro “nefitri” Tarasich and Arman “Malady” Orazbayev will take a temporary break from the main team roster. In their place, Miroslav “BOOM” Bičan and the renowned captain Clement “Puppey” Ivanov will step up for the upcoming qualifying matches.

Previously departed from NAVI a decade ago to establish Team Secret, which garnered significant success in Dota 2, Puppey will now take Malady’s place within the team. This comeback holds special significance for NAVI supporters as it marks a return of one of their most accomplished figures. However, after the departure of midlaner player Nisha, Team Secret faced challenges and were knocked out early in this year’s TI qualifiers.

NAVI’s temporary new roster

In the upcoming DreamLeague Season 24 Eastern Europe qualifiers, as well as other forthcoming competitions, our revised team roster will participate. Here’s the complete Navi lineup for DreamLeague S24:

  • Artem “Yuragi” Golubiev
  • Sukhbat “sanctity-” Otgondavaa
  • Miroslav “BOOM” Bičan (stand-in)
  • Bakyt “Zayac” Emilzhanov
  • Clement “Puppey” Ivanov (stand-in)
  • Vitalii “Sword_Art” Petkin (coach)

The future of NAVI Dota 2

In their recent announcement, NAVI has designated BOOM and Puppey as temporary substitutes for their team. However, the term “upcoming tournaments” implies they could potentially be under evaluation to see if they will remain long-term. Interestingly, both players have previously competed in the WEU region, but this time they’ll be moving to the EEU region. This shift offers a fascinating chance for them to explore different regions and playstyles that could lead to an intriguing team dynamic. The DreamLeague S24 qualifiers kick off this week, so keep an eye out if you want to catch the action!
