PUBG Mobile has released its Version 4.3 update, kicking off the game’s 8th anniversary celebrations! The new update features an Evolving Universe-themed mode, along with special events, rewards, and exciting collaborations. Here’s a look at everything you need to know about what’s new.
PUBG MOBILE Version 4.3 Update: All you need to know
Evolving Universe themed mode
The biggest addition in Version 4.3 is the Evolving Universe mode, which gives the battlegrounds a cosmic makeover. Expect to see updated city areas, strange spacetime effects, moving train tracks, and exciting new ways to race.
Erangel is the central map for this new mode, and it now includes several areas with interactive features. A popular game mode from Version 2.1 is also back, and it’s only available on Erangel.
Both Livik and Miramar have been updated with new content. Livik now features changes to the Music Hall and Racing Club, while Miramar introduces a new racing mini-game. Players can also enjoy a new feature called Wilderness Fun, which includes parachute challenges and opportunities to earn rewards.
The new themed mode also includes a passive skill system. Before a match begins, or while you’re on Spawn Island, you can pick one of five specializations. These skills improve as you play, offering unique benefits to how you approach the game.
You’ll also receive an Energy Rank, from C to S, that improves as you earn good behavior points. As you play, you’ll discover Temporal Vaults on the map which unlock special rewards and content.
8th Anniversary celebrations
With Version 4.3, PUBG Mobile is celebrating its 8th Anniversary! As part of the festivities, they’ve teamed up with the band OneRepublic, and the version includes their new song, “LEAN (PUBG MOBILE 2026 Theme Song).” Update to Version 4.3 to be among the first to hear the track right in the game.
The latest update includes a new idea called “For Every #1,” designed to highlight players’ accomplishments—big or small, from their first defeat to awesome team wins. To support this, the game’s interface has been updated with a cleaner look and easier-to-use menus.
The update includes anniversary rewards! Collect complete card sets to earn prizes, like a unique firearm finish that you can upgrade three times. Players who have been with us for seven years or more will also receive a special Holo Card as a thank you.
Celebrate our anniversary with two special events: the Mythic Forge Anniversary Event and the Secret Stash Event Draw! Participating gives you a chance to unlock awesome rewards, including bonuses worth up to 80,000 UC.
Multiple Collaborations are here: Jujutsu Kaisen and MrBeast
I’m so hyped for the new update, especially the collabs! They’re bringing back Jujutsu Kaisen, which is awesome! From March 13th to April 12th, 2026, we’ll be able to unlock outfits for Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and even Satoru Gojo! I can’t wait!
The update features new characters like Suguru Geto and Ryomen Sukuna, plus items inspired by Choso and Aoi Todo. Players can also find themed additions, including the Cursed Corpse Tsukamoto Buddy, Nue Glider, and the Inverted Spear of Heaven – Machete.
Participating in the event lets you earn a special Aoi Todo outfit, plus other fun themed items through rewards and a bit of luck!
We’ve teamed up with MrBeast, one of the biggest creators online! Log in now to get an exclusive MrBeast hoodie. Plus, keep an eye out for a special MrBeast-themed vault that might appear during battle matches.
World of Wonder updates
PUBG MOBILE is boosting its World of Wonder (WOW) mode with new tools for creators. As part of a $10 million program to support them, creators can now earn money by selling custom items they design through the in-game Creation Shop with the new Win-Win Earnings Model.
A new competition called WOW DASH is coming soon to the popular game mode that was first introduced during the game’s 5th Anniversary. Players will be able to earn Golden Ticket Fragments by playing and then exchange them for Golden Tickets.
Beginning March 19, 2026, players with tickets will be able to earn points by playing certain World of Warcraft maps and competing on leaderboards. The highest-ranked players will then move on to a final competition with a $100,000 prize.
