At the Gamescom 2025 event, they’ve raised the bar even higher by introducing the Unfail mode. In this thrilling new gameplay, five entities will be found on a compact map – four of them being you and your teammates, while the remaining entity is a terrifying, zombie-like predator on the hunt. Your goal is to scavenge for resources and survive against this menacing creature. What makes Unfail mode especially intriguing is that players can take on the roles of both the predator and the survivor.

As you ponder how to escape this dismal, frightening, and nightmarish locale, your goal will be to locate and activate certain terminals. By activating these terminals, you’ll be able to create a portal that allows you to leave. Keep in mind that the predator will do everything possible to prevent your success, so making this mission fail-proof is essential. The setting for this mode resembles the Mylta Power sector of the Erangel map. Your team must activate a total of 5 terminals, which are distributed across the map. You can view the locations of these terminals on the mini-map. There are a total of 8 terminals to select from.

The key aspect of this game mode is that your movement speed will be noticeably slowed down. Initially, you and your teammates will only have 5 bullets per weapon at the start, which can be increased by activating terminals. If the predator defeats a player, there’s one chance for an automatic respawn. To emerge victorious in this mode, all team members must successfully reach the portal without anyone failing to do so, or else the entire team loses the game.

It’s obvious that, playing as the predator, your main goal is to hunt down and eliminate all remaining survivors. Keep in mind that when a survivor attempts to activate terminals, their location and position will be revealed to you. The survivor’s finishing animation in PUBG Mobile is quite graphic and brutal – a daring choice indeed.

Tips and Tricks to win the Unfail mode

  • Use your supplies wisely: you will have very limited supplies during the match. So it is your responsibility to use those things wisely. Don’t just spam fire on the predator. You will also get supplies after activating a terminal, but you can not just rely on it solely.
  • Look for covers and hideouts: There are many secret chambers and closets present on the map. These places can help you to hide from the charging predator. Find these locations and make the most out of these.
