Okay, so I’m really excited because PUBG Mobile is about to kick off another huge esports tournament – it’s called the PMSL CSA Fall 2025. It’s the second big split in their esports season for this year, and it’s a really important event. Basically, it’s how teams will qualify for the year-end finals, and whoever wins will be crowned the new regional champion. I’m definitely tuning in to see who makes it!
This event will focus on teams from Central and South Asia. The three highest-performing teams will earn a spot to compete in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025. KRAFTON, Level Infinite, and NODWIN Gaming are co-hosting the tournament.
PMSL CSA Fall 2025 will take place online due to the ongoing protest in Nepal
Nepal is seeing large protests led by young people (Gen Z) who are speaking out against corruption, favoritism, and restrictions on social media. The demonstrations recently escalated to the point where protesters entered the former Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli’s residence, leading to him leaving the premises.
I was so excited for the PUBG Mobile event, but I just heard it’s going to be online instead of in person. Apparently, they’re doing this because of safety concerns, which I totally understand. Because of the change, it’s been postponed from September 18th, but the good news is everything else – the format, who’s playing, and the prize money – will stay the same! I’m still really looking forward to it, even if it’s a bit later than expected.

The event will happen in two phases, beginning with the Group Stage. The Group Stage itself is divided into two parts. First is the Calibration round, where teams are randomly assigned to one of five groups, each containing four teams. Over two days, a total of ten matches will be played, with each group participating in eight matches.
In the second round, called the Survival Stage, teams will be reorganized into new groups based on how they performed in the first round. Over five days, there will be 30 matches, with each group playing 24 matches. Teams will earn Head Start Points depending on their final position in this round, and the top 16 teams will move on to the Grand Finals. During the Finals, a rule called ‘Smash Rule’ will be used on the third day.
Participating Teams
The event will feature a total of 20 teams. Six teams have received direct invitations, and the remaining participants will come from sub-regional leagues including Central Asia, South Asia, and Pakistan, as well as various country finals. Here’s a look at the teams that will be competing:
Prize Pool
The total prize money for PMSL CSA Fall 2025 is an impressive $200,000. The three highest-ranking teams will automatically qualify for PMGC 2025. We don’t yet know how the prize money will be divided among the teams, but I’ll share those details as soon as they’re available.
