PUBG Mobile Beta Version 4.1 Update brings brand-new features
The Penguinville welcomes you to get warm with firepowers
The latest PUBG Mobile 4.1 update introduces Frosty Funland, a new game mode centered around the winter-themed location, Penguinville. Like previous updates, there will be two event locations on the map. A highly anticipated feature is the return of the Respawn card, which will appear in special chests after clearing an event location. Additionally, a new item called the Recall Whistle will allow you to immediately bring back eliminated teammates.

I’m so excited about this update! It’s not just about cool powers, but also awesome new gear. I can’t wait to try out the Magic Ice Skates – imagine gliding across the ice without any effort! They do have a cooldown, so you can’t just spam them, which is fair. But the best part? The Salted Fish Rocket Launcher! Seriously, it shoots fish! Not only can you use it to get around, but you can also make other players slip and fall on the ice – that’s just brilliant!
New animal buddy: PonWin
PUBG Mobile is introducing a new in-game companion, PonWin! He’s a skilled Samurai Penguin who’s ready to help you out once you recruit him. When a match begins, you’ll see a notification that PonWin has arrived, along with an icon on the map showing where he is. Head to that location and give him his favorite food – fish – and you’ll be able to hire him as your assistant by tapping the ‘Hire’ button.
PonWin is a powerful ally who can help your team by dealing damage, reviving fallen players, securing knockdowns, and providing cover from enemy fire – and that’s just the beginning! Keep in mind that each team can only have one PonWin during a match. If PonWin single-handedly knocks down and eliminates an enemy, that elimination will count towards your team’s total.
New weapon: 98k rifle
The 98k rifle is an upgraded version of the classic Kar98k sniper rifle, enhanced with magical ice. It fires special ice bullets that not only deal increased damage but also slow down enemies. These bullets can even briefly freeze opponents, potentially changing the course of battles. This weapon could be a major advantage in heated gunfights, providing a cool edge when you need it most.
New penguin clockwork shop trader

The Frosty Funland update introduces a new traveling shop called the Penguin Trader. It appears randomly on the map and offers items at a lower price than regular shops. It functions much like a standard shop, but the Penguin Trader is mobile and can show up in any location.
New vehicle: Penguin Cart

The biggest addition in the 4.1 update is the Penguin Cart, a versatile vehicle that can travel on land, water, and even ice! It’s designed for fast movement around the map, reaching speeds of 85 KM/H on solid ground and 65 KM/H in water. Plus, it can be used for skiing on ice and will deal 50 damage to any enemies you run into.
Classic mode enhancements
The PUBG Mobile 4.1 version update also brings several enhancements to the classic gameplay:
Damage reduction of firearms
This update will reduce the power of most shotguns and some assault rifles. Assault rifles will take at least a 2-point damage reduction. On the other hand, Designated Marksman Rifles (DMRs) will become more powerful with increased damage and stability. These changes could significantly alter the current popular strategies in the game.
New Area: Boatyard
As a long-time fan, I’m a little sad to see the classic Water City near Rozhok go, but I’m SO excited for what’s coming next! They’re replacing it with a much bigger area called the Boatyard, and from what I’ve heard, it’s going to be packed with new buildings like warehouses and hangars. Apparently, these will give us some really awesome strategic advantages in the game – I can’t wait to check it all out!

Loot Trucks
A long-awaited feature from the PC version of PUBG Mobile is now available in the game! A supply truck will drive around the map, and players can shoot at it. Shooting the truck will cause it to drop crates along its path. If you destroy the truck completely, all of its loot will be released immediately.
Move Loot Crates
Annoyed by teammates stealing from your loot crates? Now you can move them! This new feature lets you pick up and relocate your crates, making it easier and safer to collect valuable items.
Visual and Sound enhancements
Okay, so I’ve been playing the 4.1 Beta, and wow, the graphics and sound are seriously upgraded! Everything feels so much more polished, especially with the new stuff. The icy gear looks amazing, and seeing those iceballs explode and the ice walls shatter is super satisfying. Plus, the character transformations are really cool and make the whole experience way more immersive and intense – I feel like I’m in the game now!
Since this is a beta version, some sounds might be missing or incomplete. We’re planning to add these in the final release and will share more details as soon as we have them.
