PUBG: Battlegrounds Update 32.1 Hits Consoles Next Week With New 'Hungers Left Behind' Arcade Mode

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I must say that the upcoming Update 32.1 for PUBG: Battlegrounds has me both excited and a bit apprehensive. The new ‘Hungers Left Behind’ game-type in Arcade Mode sounds like it’ll be a challenge even for this old dog, but I’ve always been one to rise to the occasion when things get tough.

Next week, Krafton is set to release Update 32.1 for PUBG: Battlegrounds on consoles. This update includes the introduction of a fresh Arcade mode that promises to be challenging, enhancements and substantial upgrades across various aspects, along with a global region merger. Additionally, changes are planned for Care Package items.

As a devoted enthusiast, I’m thrilled about the introduction of the ‘Hungers Left Behind’ gameplay in Arcade Mode. This new experience takes the challenge of ‘Survivors Left Behind’ to an entirely different level. The damage inflicted by Hungers has been significantly increased, pushing us players to devise more strategic approaches. Furthermore, tweaks to the Care Package Weapons have resulted in a mix of buffs and nerfs across several items, adding another layer of complexity to the gameplay.

Regarding the planned regional merger, it’s designed to decrease wait times significantly by combining the Americas (both North and South) into a unified Americas region, and Asia and Oceania into a single APAC region. Additionally, modifications in gameplay mechanics, weapons, and other enhancements are on the horizon. This includes the introduction of a new Survivor Pass, a fresh Ranked Season, and various other updates.

In addition to bug fixes, you might also notice improvements to the recall system in the game. For a comprehensive overview of these changes, be sure to check out the Update 32.1 patch notes. The update for PUBG: Battlegrounds on both Xbox and PlayStation will be available starting from 17th October.
