Prue Leith Slams Women for Self-Absorption
In simpler terms, Prue Leith, a judge on The Great British Bake Off, made a comment suggesting that many women focus primarily on their own interests.
The veteran TV host, who is 85 years old and renowned for her extravagant on-screen attire, expressed her annoyance towards the persistent self-centeredness she sees in modern women, likening it to a repetitive focus on ‘me, me, me.’
During an interview with The Sun, she criticized some women for excessively indulging in massage parlors, spas, and podiatry clinics.
During her latest visit to Western Australia, she found herself displeased by the high number of establishments catering to ‘mind, body, and soul’ wellness.
She admitted to the press that while she doesn’t advocate against having these items, it appears that a lot of women are primarily focused on their own interests.
It appears there’s been quite an increase in self-care practices among women in Western societies, with a recent YouGov survey revealing that about 85% of British females partake in self-care routines.

Approximately 61% of women reported that it positively impacts their mental and emotional health, and about half indicated that it assists in reducing stress levels.
Prue also made the conclusion that she thinks ‘feminism is confusing for boys’.
She acknowledged: “Feminism has been a powerful movement for girls and women, but it has left some young men feeling unsure about their place in life and uncertain about their beliefs.
‘While many may not be harmful, some people find them ineffective. However, there are indeed some individuals who emulate Andrew Tate, and these can be considered toxic.’
Andrei Tate is frequently regarded as a representative online figure of problematic masculinity, whose influence contributes to the spread of disrespectful attitudes towards women that challenge gender equality and reinforce damaging stereotypes.
She explained that a confident woman triggers one of two reactions among young men and boys.
Prue asserted that they feel either frightened and subdued, or harbor strong dislike towards them, and acknowledged that this sentiment may also stem from an excessive preoccupation with self-care.
Afterward, the culinary authority critiqued the current youth, expressing disapproval about their role models, and admitted that she believes they lack the self-assurance and fortitude that previous generations possessed.

She partially attributed changes in behavior among some individuals to social media, contending that numerous users present themselves as unhappy or “discontented” while using it.
Prue plays the role of both mom and grandma to her daughter Li-da’s little ones, Joseph aged five and Daisy who is three, as well as to Danny’s trio: Ben at 14, Charlie, 12, and nine-year-old Sophie.
Throughout her sparkling television career, Prue has established a name for herself by frequently donning stylish ensembles that convey a bold message.
Apart from her expertise in cuisine, she’s also walked runways for high-end fashion brands throughout the years. Just recently, she graced the runway during the Vin + Omi show at London Fashion Week.
However, it wasn’t the first time Prue collaborated with Vin + Omi on fashion projects, as the previous year saw her in a provocative black latex dress that accentuated her figure.
