As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a surge of anticipation as I delve into the vibrant world of ANANTA, formerly known as Project MUGEN. Having grown up on the streets of Nova-like cities in countless games, the prospect of exploring a sun-soaked coastal hub teeming with urban legends and supernatural beings is nothing short of exhilarating.

As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share that the long-awaited urban open-world RPG from NetEase Games, previously known as Project MUGEN, has finally been given its official ANANTA! Excitingly, ANANTA is now available for pre-registration on their official website for Android, iOS, PC, and PS5, with more platforms expected to follow.

In a natural and easy-to-read manner: ANANTA is an immersive role-playing game set in Nova, a sunny coastal city where urban myths become reality and humans live alongside the supernatural. You take on the role of Esper, also known as Infinite Trigger.

In this game, you’ll have the chance to delve into a bustling urban landscape, join forces with diverse Esper characters, each with their individual tales, solve intriguing puzzles, and create lasting connections with your allies as you fight off the looming threat of Chaos that jeopardizes mankind.

The game was first unveiled back in August 2023, initially known as Project MUGEN. This project is being worked on by NetEase Games, with active collaboration from Thunder Fire Studio’s newly established affiliate, Naked Rain, making it a truly international endeavor.
