Progress Rivalry Series: Ohio State vs Michigan Match Preview

As a die-hard Ohio State Buckeyes fan with a soft spot for College Football rivalries and a passion for gaming, I can hardly contain my excitement for the Progressive Rivalry Series between the Buckeyes and the Michigan Wolverines! Having grown up watching the annual gridiron battle between these two titans of the Midwest, I’ve been eagerly awaiting this unique twist on their storied rivalry.

Ohio State and Michigan prepare to clash in the Progressive Rivalry, their virtual battlefield, prior to their upcoming physical confrontation on the football field this week.

Ohio State University (OSU) and Michigan are preparing to clash in their 120th encounter on November 30, a highly anticipated matchup often regarded as the most significant in College Football. Before these storied institutions lock horns on the field, they will engage in an online battle as part of the Progressive Rivalry Series. Current athletes, renowned alumni, and popular gaming personalities from both schools will go head-to-head in EA Sports College Football 25 on November 26.

Rivalry Series Rematch

In 2022, Ohio State went head-to-head with Michigan in the premiere edition of the Rivalry Series. This unique event unfolded on a specially designed Fortnite stage and brought together notable alumni like Braxton Miller, as well as current NFL stars such as CJ Stroud and Roman Wilson. In the end, Scoped, a prominent Fortnite streamer, led Michigan to victory in the Rivalry Series, securing the championship title. The following weekend, they also emerged victorious on the football field.

After a break of one year, Ohio State and Michigan are set to face off again in the Progressive Rivalry Series, marking the first time they’ve met in this series since the initial encounter. Many key players from the original game are back, along with several top-tier newcomers. Ohio State is determined to avenge their loss while Michigan aims to hold onto their title as champions of the Rivalry Series. In the lead-up to Sunday’s football match, both schools will strive to establish dominance in a gaming competition on Tuesday.
