I’m so excited for the Panda Pal Lux skin! And it’s amazing that Riot is really committed to making a difference – they’re donating 100% of the money from it (and matching it, for a total of 200%) to their Social Impact Fund. That’s awesome!
With this update, the new Panda Pal Lux skin will significantly support the Riot Games Social Impact Fund. Riot will donate 200% of the skin’s sales – every penny from purchases, plus an equal amount matched by Riot – effectively doubling the contribution to charity.
Panda Pal Lux
This year’s League of Legends World Championship, Worlds 2025, is being held in China, where pandas are well-known symbols of peace, friendship, good fortune, and international relations. The new Panda Pal Lux skin captures those same positive qualities, bringing a sense of warmth and balance to the game.
This skin isn’t just inspired by Chinese culture – it also brings back a fan-favorite feature that’s been missing from League of Legends skins: each color variation has its own special texture. Lately, chromas have only changed the color slightly, but Panda Pal Lux is different. Every version of the skin has unique details in Lux’s outfit, making each one feel special and distinct.
The social dimension
Between November 5th and December 3rd, Riot Games will donate all money earned from the Panda Pal Lux skin, and then match that amount with an equal donation. This effectively doubles the contribution, which will go to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund.
The Riot Games Social Impact Fund is a nonprofit organization created by Riot Games to support positive change around the world. Working with ImpactAssets, the fund allows players to contribute to meaningful and long-term improvements in communities globally. Since its launch in 2019, it has raised over $63 million and supported more than 450 organizations across 28 different regions.
Panda Pal Lux release
Okay, so the new skin is finally coming with patch 25.22 on November 5th, 2025! It’s an epic skin, which means it’ll cost 1,350 RP. They’re also releasing the Machine Herald Viktor skin, but it was delayed a little while they tweaked the design. And that’s not all – Riot is dropping two more skins in the same patch, both part of the Mecha universe: Mecha Kingdoms Wukong and Darius. Pretty hyped for all of these!
