Pro-Ject Audio Systems Turns AC/DC’s Lightning Strike Into a Turntable

The ongoing Artist Series by Pro-Jet Audio Systems has led to some incredibly stylish turntables, such as those influenced by Pink Floyd and Metallica’s distinctive themes and tones. Recently, the company unveiled the final piece in this iconic lineup: a turntable designed after AC/DC’s iconic lightning bolt emblem.

The modern design showcases a substantial circular glass tray and an acrylic sub-tray shaped like a lightning bolt. Below this glass layer sits a sleek black MDF plinth on adjustable spikes, and the whole setup is illuminated with red LED lights.

When you take a closer look, you’ll notice that the turntable’s low resonance tonearm resembles AC/DC’s bolt. It has an eye-catching red electric arm and a smaller handle shaped like a lightning bolt, which allows you to lift the arm and place it on the vinyl record.

Regarding technology, the newest turntable from Pro-Ject comes with an Ortofon 2M Red MM cartridge already set up for you. This cartridge is well-known for being one of the top value options in High Fidelity audio systems.

You can now purchase the Pro-Ject Audio Systems’ AC/DC Turntable from their online store for 1,299 EUR. Check out its stylish design in the images provided.
