To save yourself the hassle, make sure your video guides adhere to YouTube or TikTok submission rules before uploading. Once they pass muster, go ahead and submit them via the video submission window for approval. Trust me, it’ll save you a whole lot of headaches in the long run!

To ensure your uploaded guide follows the correct format, please title it as follows: “Category Name – Brief Description of the Guide Content”. For example, “Agent Guide – Anby Optimal W-Engine and Squad Configuration”. Any submissions not adhering to this structure may be deemed invalid.

To ensure your guide is considered, please submit it between the specified timeframe [August 14, 2024, at 10:00 and September 23, 2024, at 23:59 (UTC+8)]. Submissions received after this period will not be accepted.

3. For a post to be deemed valid, it must meet the following criteria:

1. Just a heads-up: If you decide to remove your entry while the competition is ongoing, we won’t be able to verify your participation, and it may be considered ineligible. The competition timeline spans from the start date up until the announcement of the winners.

To ensure you keep any virtual rewards you may win, please make sure to accurately share your in-game user identification number within the given deadline. If this step is overlooked, it might lead to losing your prize.

As a seasoned participant in various events and contests, I can’t stress enough the importance of providing accurate delivery information promptly when it comes to winning physical prizes. From past experiences, I have learned that failing to do so within the specified timeframe may result in forfeiting the prize altogether. Once submitted, modifying the delivery address is usually not an option, and if our logistics provider encounters issues with an incorrect address, resending the prize isn’t guaranteed. So, always double-check your details before submitting to ensure a smooth and successful prize delivery experience.

4. To be accepted, your contribution should be unique fan work, free of any non-original elements. Any posts found to break this guideline may result in the removal of their content.

It’s absolutely prohibited to copy someone else’s work and pass it off as your own (plagiarism). If such an act is discovered and confirmed, the offender risks having their posts removed immediately and being barred forever from participating in any future community activities.

8. When you join the event, you’re granting the organizer permission to share or showcase your entry both online and offline. The organizer might choose to highlight exceptional entries on HoYoLAB, mark them as exceptional content, or suggest them on the HoYoLAB homepage. Whether an entry is recommended or not doesn’t impact prize distribution. Prizes will be awarded based on the results of the judging period alone. However, the author always maintains the original ownership rights of their work.

As a seasoned participant in numerous contests throughout my years, I have learned the importance of understanding and adhering to contest rules. In this Strategy Guide Contest, I appreciate the clear guidelines that allow each Proxy to submit multiple works, but ensure that only one UID can win a prize per version. This rule seems fair, as it encourages creativity without giving an unfair advantage to those who may have multiple accounts. If multiple works from the same UID happen to win prizes, I think it’s wise to award the highest prize to maintain consistency and avoid confusion. This rule is well thought out and should contribute to a level playing field for all participants.

9. Not all awards may be given out if the number of submissions is low or if they don’t meet our quality standards.
