The main version of Citadel, jointly helmed by Priyanka, is an exhilarating espionage action series on Prime Video, overseen by the Russo Brothers, renowned for their work in Marvel productions.

Series one of Citadel had six episodes.
In March 2023, a month prior to its premiere, it was confirmed that Citadel would be returning for a second season, with Joe taking on the role of director for every episode.
Regardless of its high production cost, Citadel’s reception among viewers has been somewhat divided.
Principal filming for the main series kicked off in January 2021 and concluded in December 2022. Yet, additional filming sessions took place in both early and mid-2022, overseen by creator David Weil, the Russos, and Thomas Sigel who directed the first season.
