Listeners of the audiobook edition of the memoir will enjoy unique, firsthand accounts directly from Lisa Marie, along with skilled narration provided by Academy Award-winning actress, Julia Roberts.

Oprah Winfrey has scheduled an exclusive prime-time interview with Riley (formerly Danielle) to be aired on CBS and Paramount+ on October 8th. Following this, she will commence a six-city book tour starting from October 9th at The Strand at Cooper Union’s Great Hall in Manhattan.

Lisa Marie tragically died at the age of 54 on January 12, 2023, due to complications from a ‘blockage in her small bowel’ that had developed following bariatric surgery some years ago. Regrettably, more than three meters (approximately 30ft) of her small intestine had already stopped functioning before she was urgently taken to the hospital.

During the span of her five-year marriage with The King, which concluded with a divorce in 1973, Priscilla warmly received Lisa Marie.

In Keough’s writing, she notes that there are certain topics she didn’t discuss in the tapes, areas of her later life that remained unexplored. Despite spending five days a week with her throughout her life and living together until she was 25, there were still gaps in her narrative. To bridge those gaps, she writes that she provides additional insights.

In every encounter with her, people felt a potent energy – a blend of passion, security, devotion, affection, and an intense connection to a spirit that was remarkably strong. It’s clear that the spiritual power my grandfather held coursed through my mother’s blood. Being in her presence, you could sense it.

Previously, the producer-actress associated with Under the Bridge agreed to a $1M settlement and covered $400K in legal expenses for her grandmother. This action enabled her grandmother to assume sole control of Lisa Marie’s estate, as well as the sub-trusts linked to Lisa Marie’s half-sisters Harper and Finley Lockwood.

On October 7th, Presley plans to honor the sixteenth birthdays of granddaughters Harper and Finley (who recently had her braces removed), marking a special occasion for both girls.
