Princess Diaries 3 gets an exciting update

As a fan who grew up with Mia Thermopolis and her royal adventures, I can hardly contain my excitement! The announcement of Adele Lim as director for The Princess Diaries 3 feels like a dream come true. Having watched Raya and the Last Dragon and Joy Ride, I’m confident that her vision will add a fresh perspective while maintaining the heart and soul of Genovia.

The Princess Diaries 3 has received an exciting update.

Adele Lim, who was involved in the production of both the kid-friendly film “Raya and the Last Dragon” and the more mature “Joy Ride”, has joined the team once again to take on the role of director for this new collaboration with Disney.

In the new film, Debra Martin Chase will once again take on her role as producer, following her work on the initial movies. Meanwhile, screenwriter Flora Greeson is crafting the script for this upcoming project.

Enthusiastically, Lim shared with Deadline that, being an ardent admirer of the initial Princess Diaries series, I can hardly contain my excitement to contribute to the creation of its upcoming third installment.

Indeed, Anne Hathaway reappears, posting an article on Instagram about the off-screen decisions of the movie, including a video that alludes to the “shut up” scenes from the initial two movies.
