As a lifestyle advocate, I’d express it this way: In my viewpoint as a lifestyle guide, Princess Andre gracefully avoids wading into the public disputes between her parents, Peter and Katie Price, who parted ways sixteen years back. She chooses to maintain her peace and privacy amidst their ongoing feud.
The 18-year-old influencer, fresh from appearing in The Princess Diaries reality series, openly stated that engaging in their disputes holds no value for them.
The situation escalated significantly as Peter, aged 52, publicly labeled his former wife, also 47, a liar, ending years of silence for the benefit of their kids.
Peter countered Katie’s statement about them sharing custody since time immemorial, by explaining that they started living with him in 2018 primarily for the children’s safety, due to accusations of untruthfulness on her part.
Following Katie’s assertion that their child-sharing arrangement was a longstanding tradition, Peter clarified that they had moved in with him in 2018, out of concern for the children’s wellbeing, as he felt she was not being truthful.
Although they often argue, the princess has made it clear that she won’t express her opinion to either parent as she feels it would be futile.
In response to being queried if she’d speak with her mother about the matter, Princess shared with The Guardian that she had no plans to do so, explaining that her mom could get upset over something, but once they exchange messages, everything is back to normal between them.

When asked if it isn’t easy having parents, Princess said: ‘No. Especially divorced parents.’
In the very same interview, Princess gently asserted that she had no intention of portraying her mother negatively, as she currently feels more stable than she has in quite some time.
Princess inquires, “Doesn’t this sound quite unfavorable? I’m referring to the fact that Mum seems disorganized while Dad remains steady, if you catch my drift?
Currently, your mother exhibits a significantly different personality compared to what she was like four years ago. In retrospect, it’s true that your father was generally more stable, while your mother has a tendency to be more impulsive or unpredictable compared to him.
More casually, Peter discussed his daughter’s debut in television for the first time, confessing that he was quite firm about the content she was allowed to present on her new show.
The audience highly commended her for her four-episode series, during which she provided a glimpse into her turbulent upbringing as the child of the renowned creator of the Mysterious Girl song and his former partner.
In a conversation with Daily Mail prior to his upcoming Channel 5 series titled The Sunshine Murders, Peter expressed caution about allowing Princess to feature on television until she reached an age where she would be capable of handling it independently.
The five-time father mentioned that it has been challenging for him to accept the fact that his oldest daughter, who recently celebrated her 18th birthday this year, is now grown and independent.

Katie responded forcefully to her former partner, Peter, after he released a statement alleging that she had been spreading unfounded rumors about him for the past sixteen years.
He emphasized that he had set clear boundaries for her, limiting many activities until she reached an age where she could handle them independently.
I am genuinely proud of her, as I find her exceptionally kind-hearted. I truly wish others recognize this quality in her. My hope is that she continues to radiate and blossom into a unique and precious jewel.
‘She’s a great girl and I’m proud of her and I’m proud of Junior too. He’s such a good, good kid.’
Peter explained that as Princess grew into an adult, he found it necessary to relinquish control, acknowledging that he had been quite firm during their childhood years.
In a conversation with Daily Mail, he acknowledged, “This part is challenging as I need to be truthful. Some individuals find it easier to break free when cutting the metaphorical umbilical cord at eighteen years old.
I understand you needed to give up some control, which wasn’t effortless. It’s intimidating because it feels like letting go of something precious and new.
Even though they may have physically grown older, their sentiments often remain reminiscent of a child. In essence, they continue to embody the innocence and dependency characteristic of childhood, hence they are still like babies to you.

Indeed, I might have been perceived as quite a disciplined father in the past, but I believe I’ve softened up a bit these days. I’m much more relaxed now.
Certainly, my intention was to ensure safety, and while we strive to maintain their youthful purity for as long as possible, it’s important to eventually acknowledge that they need to experience life on their own.
On Friday, Katie reacted to Peter’s surprising declaration through an unusual Instagram post, discussing ‘insincere individuals pretending to be wronged parties.’
As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but feel a twinge of concern about the whispers circulating lately regarding Katie and her daughter, Princess. It’s been a while since Katie missed out on attending Princess’s 18th birthday bash, and with her absence from the nepo baby’s ITV reality show as well, it’s hard not to wonder if there might be some underlying tension between them. I, for one, sincerely hope that they can resolve any issues and continue their beautiful bond as mother and daughter.
Later on, Katie asserted that she was informed by her daughter’s team not to be part of the television program.
On Thursday, Peter decided to voice his perspective, stating: “For the past 16 years, I’ve remained quiet in response to recurring falsehoods from my ex-wife and her family, due to concern for my children and loved ones. However, this silence has been quite aggravating. From now on, I will speak up.
To clarify some recent statements concerning my children’s wellbeing and living situation, I feel it’s important to correct the record. In 2018, for legitimate reasons related to their safety, Junior and Princess lived with me due to certain circumstances. They remained under my care until they became adults.
In 2019, a court ordered, legally, that this arrangement be upheld in our family. Until now, I’ve kept this private, out of consideration for my kids.

In both 2011 and 2015, public court records showed that my former spouse fabricated statements. Consequently, she was mandated to compensate significant amounts in damages and legal fees, as well as issue an apology to me and my team. Regrettably, the same untruths are being echoed today.
Regrettably, there are numerous untruths and groundless claims that still require my attention. I plan to address these issues over the next few months.
Peter shared with Daily Mail that he emphasized good manners, or ‘politeness’, in his older children, Princess and Junior, as a result of valuable advice from his spouse Emily, whom he wed in 2015.
It’s customary to respond in detail when someone asks ‘How are you?’ Rather than simply saying ‘good,’ it’s better to say something like ‘I’m good, thank you. How are you?’
As a passionate admirer who’s seen the world from teenage years to 52, let me share a constant in my life’s journey: the profound significance of good manners. Growing up under strict parents, I was instilled with this value – one that has remained steadfast throughout my life. Manners, to me, are not just polite gestures; they are a testament of respect and consideration for others.
Indeed, it’s crucial to safeguard our daughters and sisters. About seven years ago, Emily showed me an essential lesson that stands out vividly even now.
She told me, “It’s not fair to treat one differently than the other. The same rules that apply to one should also apply to the other.
Suddenly, it felt as if an idea suddenly clicked for me, reminding me of how overly protective my sister and I had been towards her, to the point where we prevented her from doing many things.
As I grow older, I’ve come to realize that treating everyone equally is the way to go, regardless of how we were raised or what we were taught as children.
Although Peter’s older kids frequently share updates on social media, he mentioned that things will be quite distinct for his three children with his spouse Emily – Theo (aged 8), Amelia (aged 10), and Arabella (nearly a year and a half old).
He mentioned that when social media initially emerged, it wasn’t available for Princess and Junior during their childhood years.

As a devoted follower, I must admit that when social media emerged, I too jumped on the bandwagon, unaware of the potential risks. It seemed exciting and novel, with everyone participating, so we couldn’t resist. Sharing photos became commonplace, and it felt like that was simply the way things were moving.
In the past one or two years, it seems we’ve become more aware of the risks associated with AI, as AI technology didn’t exist before this period.
‘But what AI’s, what they can do with things on social media now, we’re just like, “oh my God”.
As a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase that as follows: “In our household, we follow strict guidelines when it comes to our children’s digital usage. While they may not gain full access to social media platforms until they turn 16, my wife Emily is particularly firm on this matter, ensuring that they remain off-limits to them until then, given the importance of fostering a healthy and balanced lifestyle in their formative years.
‘So I’m like, I understand now that times are different, and we have to sort of go with that.
The rules will stay consistent, but we may enforce them more stringently when it comes to social media. However, by the time they reach their teenage years, things could look quite different.
Peter had a conversation with Daily Mail at the same time he was working on Channel 5’s forthcoming show, The Sunshine Murders. This program is scheduled to air on the channel in the coming month.
The actor, who portrays a doctor investigating grisly murder victims, revealed that playing this character, shot in Greece, has sparked his interest in taking on more acting jobs in the future.
He shared that he definitely agrees, but added a personal note: As a child, he studied acting and later found success in music when he was signed to a live TV show at the age of 16. This unexpected opportunity he embraced wholeheartedly.
I’ve long expressed my intention to return to acting when I turn 40, having already made several short films in America, albeit none of which were publicly released – they mainly screened at film festivals and similar events. More recently, I’ve starred in a few new feature-length productions.
‘It’s definitely the area I’m gonna go in, but music’s always my first love in.’
The Sunshine Murders will air on Channel 5 next month.
