At first, the Prince watched from the sidelines as the kids enjoyed themselves. Yet, his growing passion for the sport soon became apparent and took center stage.

Initially, the Prince of Wales tested the waters by inquiring about the exercises the children around him were practicing. The NFL Foundation UK’s gathering was conducted by present and past National Football League players, who had the expertise to instruct athletes from scratch. Yet, it’s safe to assume that none of them envisioned themselves coaching a member of the Royal Family when they woke up that day!

As reported by ESPN in a recent article, before diving into football, Prince William first focused on mastering the art of throwing a football. After receiving some fundamental tips, he successfully tossed the ball through a tight passing target’s window and even hurled a rock across the field while engaging in several games with the young participants present.

The coaches of the event were taken aback by Prince William’s proficiency in passing, a skill he demonstrated without prior experience. While they would not suggest he retire from the sport if there was room for improvement, the players emphasized to the media that Prince William possesses genuine amateur talent, having never played the game before.
