Prince William has thoughts on Prince Louis' newest hobby

As someone who has followed the Royal Family for years, it’s always fascinating to see the children grow and develop their own unique interests. The latest news about Prince Louis taking up the drums is just another testament to that!

It appears that Welsh children, including Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, possess distinctive passions. As we gradually discover their pastimes, both in the company of their parents and independently, an intriguing hobby of the youngest prince has come to light.

As reported by Hello Magazine, on November 27, Prince William attended the 2024 Tusk Awards, where he engaged in conversations with several individuals. During these discussions, Prince William shared that his nephew, Prince Louis, has recently discovered a new pastime. This intriguing hobby was discussed with Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones and Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits.

Looking at the two companions the prince was conversing with, it’s probably not a shock that Prince Louis’ latest pastime involves drumming. So, what did Prince William express about his youngest son’s newfound interest?

As a gamer, I’d joke around with Knopfler and Wood like this: “Since my little one’s mastering the drums, you’ll often find me with my fingers plugged up in my ears all day long!

On previous occasions, we’ve talked about Louis’ exceptional skills in music. However, it’s important to note that his interests extend beyond music. In addition to being a talented musician, he’s also quite fond of sports. He particularly enjoys playing Cricket and Rugby.

It’s not just Prince Louis who appreciates music within the Wales family; even Prince George shares this passion and reportedly plays the guitar as well.

It appears that, going by their current pace, Prince Louis and Prince George might be nearly finished creating their own music group. If Princess Charlotte were to join them, possibly by learning to sing or playing an instrument, we’d have to consider the idea of a royal band.
