Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan arrive in Colombia in style

As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for royal family updates and fashion trends, I must say that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have certainly leveled up their game on their first day in Colombia! It’s not every day you get to witness such a jampacked itinerary filled with meetings, performances, and even a digital safety summit.

15th August marked the initial day of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s trip to Colombia, and they indeed made a grand entrance.

On the initial day of a four-day journey, the pair encountered an opportunity to explore Bogotá, accompanied by Colombia’s Vice President Francia Marquez and her companion. Over a meal featuring traditional dishes, coffee, and tea, they engaged in discussions about their aspirations for digital security. Later, they visited a local school, where the emphasis was on online safety.

Upon touching down in Colombia, I found myself stepping out with my partner, both of us exuding an air of sophistication and style. Duchess Meghan, ever the fashion icon, was a vision in her Veronica Beard cropped pants and vest set, which she paired beautifully with a sleek bun, elegant black heels, and a regal demeanor that truly marked her as a working royal. My navy blue suit complemented her elegance perfectly, signaling our readiness for whatever the day might bring.

After spending our first day exploring new sights, we switched gears for an enchanting evening filled with dance and culture. As per What Meghan Wore blog’s account, we immersed ourselves in the National Centre for the Arts in Bogotá, enjoying a captivating performance. Instead of sticking to the somber tones we wore earlier, Prince Harry decided to lighten up his look, donning a casual beige sports coat paired with white trousers and reusing the sweet baby blue dress shirt from our morning adventures.

On her inaugural day in Colombia, Duchess Meghan chose a vibrant pink midi dress by Johanna Ortiz to complete her ensemble. Known as the Navajo Weaver dress, it boasts a textured design, a modest front cutout, and a slit on the skirt’s front.

At last, we spotted the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at a digital futures event. Interestingly, this was the third outfit for the Duchess during her trip, a stylish brown set featuring trousers and a dress shirt, paired with camel-colored sandals. It appears Prince Harry maintained his formal dark suit from earlier in the day, while the Duchess’s ensemble on this occasion seemed to combine business casual with a touch of high-end sophistication – a departure from her other two outfits worn during their initial day in Colombia.

From the outset, the pair appeared well-prepared for their expedition across Colombia, evident on their first day in the capital city alone. Their inaugural day was filled to the brim with engagements, including a meeting with the vice president of the nation, immersing themselves in cultural exhibitions at a center, visiting a school, and even partaking in a summit. The cherry on top for admirers was their stylish execution of these busy activities.
